Reggina, Livorno, Derby Della Madonnina, Napoli, Udinese for our next 5 games. Even if Inter beat Viola tomorrow…I don’t know. I just…don’t know.

the refs fucked us good, real good.

This match was incredibly demoralizing. I don’t know if we’re going to be able to bounce back psychologically. To go from a ridiculous first half, to this. All of our hard work for nothing. One red card fucked it up for us.

Well, I finally decide to come out of my shell, and look what happens.
At least it’s baseball season now, so I’ve got something to watch…Posted from

Dammit, I have to do Calculus. I need to go take a shower first, I’m in extreme depression at the moment. My friend’s birthday today, I have to keep my head up and smile for her at least.

Does anyone else realzie that Milan went crazy last 2 games in 1st half, then 2nd half, it just got dead… that’s not a very smart approach.. unless we have players with a lot of endurance.. everyone looked very tired..

Carlo was actually, literally, on drugs today. I can’t justify anything he did today. Pippo scores two goals? You take him out. Pirlo (alright, he was getting pretty bad towards the end) out…for…Brocchi? What the hell? You take out our fab playmaker for Brocchi when we’re a goal behind?

I’m gone, can’t stay around anymore. I’ll see you guys later when I’m not as incredibly bitter.

In the first half the game was so insane that I couldn’t take my eyes off it to post… in the second half I couldn’t post because I was too busy gouging my eyes out from the ugly play/bad calls.

who would you take out to bring in cafu?
our midfield was all we had going for us.
seedorf? no way, his play between the lines was too important. kaka’? haha, yeah right…
and pirlo came off because he ran his socks off, there was nothing more he could add to the game. he was too tired. he is a mortal, not a machine.
i cant blame carlo today, not one bit.
the refs fucked us good again today, and juve know they got a gift today. those fucking cheats.
on a fair field, we wouldve kicked their ass.

Fair field…hahah. You know deep down that we payed off bonera for that incredibly horrible tackle. You guys just got outmuscled/outplayed/outpayed (thanks ref). You win some, you lose, some. At least you’ll always have uefa cup…right?!

I’m sorry shehan, I have to totally disagree with you. To the max. Oh, I don’t know…Rino? Ambro? The two of them weren’t exactly having the best of matches, Ambro got himself suspended for next week as it is. Then we could have switched to a 4-3-2. Bring Seedorf a bit back, Ricky and Pippo up top. Was the logical thing to do in my opinion. Pippo was fighting up there, I didn’t see the point of taking him off. Carlo had a fair bit of blame.
And Brocchi for Pirlo? I adore Andrea, he was exhausted, so it wasn’t so much that he was subbed out…but Brocchi of all people when we’re a goal down? What was he going to do, score a goal? Seemed like a defensive maneuver when it was the complete opposite of what we needed. Carlo wasn’t my main annoyance this match, as there were clearly other factors, but honestly, in his position, he should have done better. And stupid subs isn’t something we haven’t seen before from him.

As much as I hate to say it, Juve played with as much heart as we did. I’m not going to lie, quite a few ref calls were a bit suspect in the second half(that tackle on Kaka’ anyone?), but in the end, they used the situation to their advantage, and won. A draw would have been the ultimate fair reward, but it didn’t happen, that’s football. I’m just frustrated that we played our hearts out, and it was all for nothing.

saw the sexcond half only - but amazing subs by carlo - what the fuck, who suns a striker for a midfielder when you are 2 all in a match which you have to win….he has lost it…what are we going to do now? i cannot stop watching but hate every minute of this…champions league is out of reach… now lets at least aim for the uefa cup…

I thought Rino was much better in the second half, he was digging deep.
and the only reason I can think Carlo put Brocchi on is because he did really well coming off the bench last week, he set up Pippo’s second.
I am seriously heartbroken right now. I can’t comprehend us not being in the CL next year.

No, I agree Bonnie, he was better in the second half. Just…arrgh. We could really argue forever on this. We’re all brokenhearted. Time to go laser-tagging for my friend’s birthday and be totally emo because of this match. Peace.

a tie wouldve been more advantageous than a loss.
we cant take ambro out of the game, with all the long balls coming into the midfield from both goalies, hes the only one capable of fighting for them vs. sissoko.
and at that point we were looking for the draw, if fiorentina lose tomorrow it wouldve been 1 point gained on them if any.
once juve got their lead, carlo had no choice but to take out gattuso for gilardino (who did fuck all, again..).
brocchi came on because we needed an anchorman in front of defense, with ambrosini being pushed up to play as a make-shift target man to lob the long balls forward.
all of carlo’s subs were justified, he had no better options on the bench; and for that we can blame adriani fucking galliani.
we did not deserve this loss, but on top of everything else the refs fucked us good.

The first half of Milan/Juve might have been the best 45 minutes of football in Serie A since calciopoli.
With both sides trading goals and pushing the attack with speed and precision, it was scintilating edge of the seat stuff.
The ref Rocchi lost the plot a bit in the second half and the match became choppy, though still entertaining.
I wouldn’t say that Juve didn’t deserve to win, but I also can’t say that Milan deserved to lose.
Talking points:
1. Bonera’s red. A reckless challenge, but was it harsh to go straight to the red considering how the Bianconeri, Camo particularly, had been mauling Milan?
2. The Maldini “foul” that set up the free kick that led to the winner. Sure didn’t look like a foul to me.
3. Thing only I care about: Is there a player on the planet who gives less of a sheeit than Cafu? If so, I haven’t seen him.–PS: Posted this elsewhere but thought I’d chuck up here too.

mctalian, i agree camoranesi should have been carded, but the red on bonera is unquestionable. awful late tackle studs-up from behind, he should be getting a 2-game ban.

McTalian, what are the odds of seeing you here?!?!? My God, even the internet world is a small one. Stop stalking me McTalian…lol!

Inzaghi was subbed out prolly b/c he was tired.. Keep in mind he’s 34/35 and this is only his 2nd game back from injury, (although I think he played 90 mins against Cagliari). And this brings up the most important point and problem of the squad. The age. Everyone’s favourite topic right?
Milan’s 1st half was excellent.. 2nd half was ugly.. Clearly, legs were tired in the 2nd half, which lead to more tackles and frustration.
Defensive line was unimpressive, except for that 1 Maldini tackle and that interception by Simic.
About the subs, I don’t think Pirlo off was a good idea. Pirlo is the brain of the team.. The link b/w defence and midfield.. Soo, without him, how did he expect us to score?
and McTalian.. agreed about Cafu.. He’s always smiling..
