U can argue quite easily that they are a powerhouse domestically but in Europe they havent cut it in a long while, but the signs are that Fergie is a man who learns from his mistakes and this might be the start of ManU making a serious assault on Europe year on year (u mean like Milan already do?).

For Gods sake, Fergie recently ADMITTED that they have still to catch the Madrids & Milans! And was quite honest about the 3-0 beating they got in Milan last season.

I remember watching ManU gettin thrashed by Barca 4-0 in 94 and the same Barca squad where later demolished in the CL final by our very own Milan and by the same scoreline (luv ya Capello!).

one thing is simple matt, it really is. football is about winning. to be the top you have to win. milan have achieved much more than man.utd. thus theres more prestige. its a simple formula really, theres no narcissistic algorithm involved.

glory and legacy come from achievement, and nobody forgets achievement. milan has achieved much more than manchester united can ever dream of [for now]. Maldini, even seedorf, have achieved more european and international glory than manchester united. dont compare the two teams. you just can’t match man.utd to milan. its as simple as that.

if football is about trophies then based on this year milan is a nothing team compared to man united. and they will be next year to as well based on them being in the uefa cup instead of the champs league. right? should we forget this season because it’s convinient? they’re on the same playing field. would an ancillary star like pato come to manchester united away from milan just because of the prestige that united holds? what more is it than milan’s at this moment in time? what more is milan’s for tevez to goto milan from united? none either way…hence the arrogance of someone from milan to even hint at that…it’s funny that someone’s so deluded to think that they’re in such a higher standing when they’re obviously not. if it makes you take your panties out from your crack then they’re equal to each other even on the other’s worst day.
