danm pato won us the game, i was already visualising the headlines =) but fuckelotti just had to take dinho out and unsettle the team, pizzaro delivered the K.O punch for me he was all over the pitch creating and dictating the play, and golden balls played for the team a lot today; he was always looking for Pato and Kaka and made some great defensive plays :~) and didnt pato leave mexes in the dust or what? that goal has to be the best so far with milan .he was quick as lightning> hope dunga saw it.

Ignore the result for a second.
This was the most entertaining game Milan have played so far – demonstrating their true attacking potential. It was great to see Pato become a man on the field today, and that alone made today a good game.

I think this game also demonstrated that Milan can play well in spite of disinterested coaching and confused management. I actually feel a lot better about Milan’s long term prospects

Napoli fan here. Milan is so poorly managed it’s a shame. So much resources, but Galliani has a thing for old balls and Berlusconi runs the team with the same scrutiny that he runs Italy. His coach openly pines for the national job and Roma job. Galliani keeps paying top in their prime price for players who are already past their prime. When in reality that great amount of money could be invested in younger players. Pato’s goal was very impressive, but the club really needs to spend money on rising stars like him not falling stars. God knows they have the resources. I know I didn’t really say anything you all don’t already know, but it’s really frustrating for me and I don’t even follow the team.

shingai, i think that for some time in the second half we showed some true [counter-]attacking potential. but in the first half we hardly had any penetration up front.

the first half, while we dominated possession, it was nothing worthwhile. it was just a good session of keep-ball, with no goal…

beckham was alright, he played better than i expected, but i still wasn’t too enthralled with his inclusion in the starting lineup. i would’ve preferred a more dynamic flamini.

a 2-2 isn’t the worst result, but we could’ve and should’ve picked up all 3 points. seedorf was horrible today, thats why we didn’t click as well.

my men of the match were pato and de rossi. we gave de rossi too many opportunities to shoot, lucky for us most were on his ’swinger’ left foot. other than that, he was impeccable against us today.

on another note, carlo must get our defensive organization down. both goals were horrible defensive mistakes. the second being a complete embarrassment. we are leaking goals like mofo’s, carlo needs to get our priorities straight.

I meant long term for the club, Gian. Milan will still be good as long as its spine stays intact – solid center defenders, at least one motivator (a la Gattuso), a playmaker and a goalscorer. As we saw today, the rest of the side can be pedestrian, and the team can still look good.

Although yeah, I switched to the Barca game after vucinic’s first goal cuz Milan were playing like some shit up until their first goal.

as has happened so often recently, we failed to capitalise on our lead and ended up squandering 3 (2) points. pato was brilliant, kaka good in the second half, pirlo decent – getting back into his groove, beckham ok – at least he tried a few times – rest all crap and seedorf the worst player on the pitch. yet again, our defence was old and creaking – we had the experience but did not have the legs or the agility to match their runs and the first goal was a clear lapse on our part.
we should just pray for a champions league place. what is worrying is no traction happening on getting a defender inspite of so many games clearly showing the lack of one. in the top 6 teams in the league, we have let in the max goals 20

Yes, Shehan, Pato is “now” and all he needs is a well struck pass into relatively uncrowded space to make it happen. But, please don’t think about comparing him to Messi (yet)…

What bugged me most is the fact that after Roma equalized, Ancelotti didn’t think of making a tactical change. He could have put in Pippo or Sheva instead of Seedorf, but nooo, 1 point is good, so bring on Flamini.

He had Pippo warming up for like 30 minutes or so.

Perhaps a bit of both. He favored Sheva or Pippo many times before (whether that’s Ancelotti’s choice or Berlu’s choice is a mystery), and I think he lost faith in Sheva, which ultimately means he’s lost faith in Pippo, perhaps. Tactical stupidity, YES. I mean, Ambro and Flamini fit to play, but he plays 3 creative midfielders to start. Since when do Milan play with 3 creative midfielder? It’s always at least 1 defensive player.

Milans losses this year come even as their offence is doing its job, the mids have to start thinking more defensively than trying to score, the defence is just terrible especially Maldini. But no one is talking about the terrible placement of Abbiati, yes he does make saves but his positioning isn’t good, and at this point I think Dida should play out the rest of the season. The only ones who should be thinking about goals are Pato, Shev, and Peeps. Everyone else stay back. Exept maybe Dihno, but he needs to be more practicle and less flashy.

1- we have the worst defense. just horrible.
2- if carlo really wants the roma seat, then please go ahead! if not, then shut the fuck up and coach Milan!
3- with the current defensive line, we wont do shit. we wont even win uefa.

if we dont win the scudetto, then our season is 70% failure. if we dont win uefa 100% failure. CL spot is a must, no applause or any recognition are in order if we only make the CL spot.

i guess im a bit pissed. because its like seeing all our hopes crash and burn. i know the usual will come up, because of one game?! no, its been like this for 2-3 seasons. and when we win 3-4 games we all forget until we get kicked in the ass again! i can count the “great” games played in the past couple of season on my right hand. this season only Lazio & Udinese. Derby, good game but there were a lot of screw ups. last season probably only the 2nd derby and Napoli. year before probably only Man U game. i know im a bit harsh, but Milan are like a dog, you cant always ask nicely sometimes you have to be rough.

“2- if carlo really wants the roma seat, then please go ahead! if not, then shut the fuck up and coach Milan!”

What the f*ck is wrong with Carlo and Milan!!
a.) why the hell would he want to Roma? I mean, cmon, theres some behind closed door shit going on…Does he see a short future with Milan and like a chess player, setting his next move? As much as I hate Milans recent tranfer policies (the real madrid trainwreck was funny at a distance), they deserve better than Carlo

b.) the Milan of old would have sacked Carlo already…I mean, Roma? ffs

Someone, please tell Carlo to take his much beloved dumb Slowdorf along with him, if he decides to quit Milan for Roma. His national team has washed hands on him, what is he doing at Milan?

Get Gourcuff on board. Dump the Dorf.
