Viola v. Rossoneri

By: Gianfranco | February 3rd, 2008

In a few hours the Rossoneri will go head on the with the youngster from Florence. This is a game that is as close to a must win as you can get because of the standings and because as the season wears on the games will get closer and closer together. This means you MUST take points when you can, a loss here and the leaders get a bit farther away (Juve tied and Roma lost, so not to far away) but you can see the importance.

The club is an a bit of an optimistic uptick with a Gila revival and a run of better than average play in the past few games, Atalanta not considered. As we did last week feel free to use this space to lash out, or share joys as the game wears on and I will hopefully be back later to sum things up.

FORZA MILAN

One last thing, I want to share a pretty funny quote I saw about Milan the other day:

“AC Milan, a Champions League Club, who plays games on weekends.”
It says a lot doesn’t it?

I can breathe. Christ, that was the shittiest display I’ve seen in a very very long time. I’m just happy this match is over, once and for all. We didn’t deserve these points, but we got them. I hope Pato is alright, I really do.

Even though we won, Pato getting injured is just a big blow, but lets not get ahead of ourself. Kalac proved himself. and Carletto, unless we have all 3 attackers injured, you have no excuse in using your damn christmas, i know we owe you a lot but with all all due respect ill have to shove that christmas tree is a place i dont think you’ll like.

we got better as soon as Pato & Emerson came in. more space for Kaka & Pirlo. Pato’s goal was great from the beginning, a incredible pass by Pirlo to Kaka then to Pato.

For now we can only hope that Pato isnt seriously injured. and now with one game in hand we’re 4pts away from Viola and 8pts from Juve, hopefully to be 5pts.

and deepest condolences to president Silvio for losing his mother.

The Brazilian badly sprained his left ankle as he put his foot down awkwardly and was stretchered off in visible pain.

Holy freaking hell, I don’t know what I’m in more shock over - the win or cheering for Emerson and Kalac!

And I know Gila wasn’t wonderful today, but in his defense he worked a lot frigging harder than most today. Unfortunately that was the problem, he would do so much running that he was useless for finishing.

    PATO: LA SITUAZIONE
    03/02/2008
FIRENZE - L’entità dell’infortunio di Alexandre Pato, costretto ad abbandonare il terreno del Franchi anzitempo per una distorsione alla caviglia, verrà valutata nelle prossime 48 ore.
    ================

they’re gonna reevaluate his injury in 2 days, probably hoping for the swelling and pain to go down before they go in.

now we are down to one striker, and gilardino will miss the next game because of 5 yellow cards…

galliani that bald fuck has fucked us up the ass very smoothly this time.

If Gila will miss the next game, then we dont have any attackers, Pippo isnt 100% fit, R99 still injured, and Pato….we still have to wait for 48 hours, lets just hope Milanello doctors take good care of him. Pippo be ready by next week.

we have 7 days to get ready for the next game, hopefully good news will come out of the Pato situation. as for now, its supeeeer bowl time =)

for these words, i love you Carletto,

“These rumours emerge every now and then, but they make me smile more than cause irritation. Will I leave Milan? I’ll chain myself to the gates!”

man, im not sure if its the initial kick that made him twist his foot inside or when he rolled it by stepping on it that killed it.

its a serious sprain thats for sure. not career ending, but i dont think it will heal 100% again, the way ankle sprains are…

No news yet on Pato, I geuss they really are waiting for the swelling to go down. I find the whole injury really alarming because we do not have fit strikers, at a time where wins are a must. I also find it alarming because Pato is only 18, and injuries like this can get compounded and worse as time wears on, quite frankly they shorten careers, ala Van Basten. I am trying to be as optimistic as humanly possible, but from here it did not look, lets hope for the best and fast healing youngsters…

The bad news continues. It looks like Pats will be out for 3 weeks, thereby missing the Arsenal clash along with Gattuso, noooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the Pato pic Ro, keep them coming mate as alot of us are gona need doses of humour over the next couple of weeks.
