What impact did Kaka have when he came in? He had one good run, which came to nothing, and one great chance. How does he deserve an 8?
Didn’t pay much attention to Becks, but just the fact that he’s putting 100% effort all throughout the game makes me proud and I’m glad he’s on the team.

Moka, he gave the ball away EVERY freaking time he touched it! The teams morale changed totally with Kaka on the pitch. It was like the whole group out there felt more secure, he like released this calming effect on everyone.
If you call giving the ball away to the opposition every single time you have the ball putting in a 100% effort, then I’d like to see what you call someone that actually is doing good.

Team’s morale changed? Really now?
Let’s not get too defensive about Kaka. First game back from injury, didn’t expect him to do much, but he really should have got a goal.
Why are we bashing Becks now? Let’s just celebrate the win and 300 goals for Inzaghi.

moka, did you watch the same game?
kaka’ just showed why he is one of the best players in the world.
the way he was exploiting space left right and center was fantastic, movement of a pure trequartista that beckham could not match in the first half.
kaka’ missed the easiest chance, yes, but other than that he was absolutely class today.
as for cardacio and viudez, if they leave i won’t shed any tears. cardacio hasn’t proved to be much in the friendlies, and viudez is like kaka’ without the end-product. the funny thing is, theres probably millions of kaka’s-with-no-end-product’s out there too…
viudez can run and dribble, but his final action sucks. i’m sure he can work on his decision making, but he is still very very far from being milan standard.
forza kaka’, his 20 min cameo had more effort than the whole team combined in the first half.

What’s this on Maxwell coming to Milan? Too much risk, I don’t think he can handle the ultras from Inter bullying him in town if he moved to Milan. I was thinking Vargas from Fiorentina.. Maxwell is older, but Vargas has much more to prove. Vargas is probably way hungrier too. then again he’s not top notch defensively..

Do you guys want Buffon on loan?

Alessio you do owe us one dont you? On current form though Abbiati is the man, but the least you can do is shop over Manninger, right?

Moka, I ordered a Milan away shirt from thefootballshirt.com last December. Got it in 4 weeks. The quality is top class.

4Life, did you order one with a name already on it, or get the request a name and number? I was wondering about the quality of the letter/numbers that they can put on the back.

So Milan have to add a proper goalie to their defensive shopping list for next season. They should really concentrate on the defense to make quality inclusions. When the attacking players are fit, they can score goals so maybe they should just look to add another striker after they get rid of Sheva. Borriello is unproven too.
Hopefully with the exit of Seedorf and Emerson, Beckham et al, we need a couple of steady midfield additions too. But the big signings should be at the back. Maldini will be gone and this will pave the way for Favalli to be gone too. I wont hold my breath to see Nesta back very often from now on either and the our two regular fullbacks will be in a major downturn in their careers from this point. Milan need some major reinforcements at the back.

Moka, I ordered from their as well, good stuff!

A, what is your definition of a proper goalie? Abbiati is in fact a proper goalie. Are you inferring that a proper GK is injury proof!? Favalli caused this and the fact that Abbiati is the best GK in Serie A behind JC at the moment speaks volume. Many of you have denied his class, and found fault in miniscule errors, but his value will truly show in the coming weeks if MIlan are unable to rally.

Panna, the lettering was excellent, obviously I would wash with care, but I ordered a Maldini and then one with my cousins name for Xmas and they were both great.

after watching dida suck harder than anybody else for the last 2-3 years i consider abbiati to be a god. even if you dont think of him as a good goalie at least he hasn’t embarrassed the club like dida did at celtic.

do u guys know a site which sells smaller sizes? all the sites i’ve seen have jerseys for men and the smallest size there is too large! any help?

God bless Abbiati. The signing of the summer. If it weren’t for him we wouldn’t be much better off than last season.

Gianfranco, I meant ‘proper goalie’ as opposed to Dida and Kalac who would be deputising for Abbiati. As per the recent news, Abbiati will be injured until well into the next season so I think Milan should try and purchase a good keeper. Unless you are happy with Dida and Kalac, that is?

To be fair to Favalli, he didn’t get anywhere near Abbiati’s knee ligaments, only managing to elbowed his keeper in the kidney area.

At the risk of sounding TOTALLY CRAZY, im praying that dida has gotten over his funk
he actually managed some decent performances in the uefa and the last couple of goals he let in were more errors from defence than anything else
which is going to highlight the real problem now that abbiati is out
with dida in goal, the pressure is on the backline now and thats already making me sweat, anyone else noticed the uncharacteristc errors from Maldini latley??
IMO, Abbiati has been our most consistent performer all season and yes, that includes zambro & even pato

Avia, like him or not we have to get behind Dida, and hope that he regained some form. The problem for me yesterday was positioning, Abbiati was always in the right place at the right time, and being a former keeper all I can here is the old saying belly button to the ball, and on a few occasions yesterday Dida was not postioned well. Either he is slow to react, or has to refine his fundamentals whatever it is we need him to get over it and play servicabley. The problem is that Abbiati was above serviceably and in fact kept Milan in games, so if you figure Dida fumble or not make a few of those saves where does that leave us? He also should be given a short leash, if he sucks, then Kalac, and if Kalac sucks then Fiori and so on, no one should be allowed to suck…

Beckham is a winger; it’s not his job to do so amazing in the trequarista role, so it’s unfair to compare him to Kaka. Kaka is world-class and that’s nothing new, but yesterday, I really didn’t see anything special from him. He almost always gets the ball and explodes, but yesterday it was clear he was lacking something.
and shehan how much have you seen of Viudez and Cardaccio to judge them? I’m not saying they’re something WOW, but who knows! If Ancelotti gives them a run when there’s more than 3.2 seconds left, then maybe we could have got a glimpse what these kids can do.

Fiori has retired. He practices law. If Dida and Kalac suck or both get injured we have either Donnarumma or Perucchini.

I correct myself. He is not practicing it yet. That’s what he studied on Milan’s bench for the last three years. Had plenty of time for that since he joined Milan. He is working with Milan’s goalies. He is one of their coaches.

Pato is future, Pippo is past. Retire him at end of season.
