Shehan, just because some people no longer feel Carlo is the man for the job, it does not mean they are being dis-loyal and should be insulted. The entire point of loving Milan is that no man is bigger than the club, right? That includes Ancelotti.
I don’t want to get rid of Carlo, especially not in the middle of the season, but if “milan finishes in last place” as you said, yes, I would still love and support the team, but it doesn’t make me less of a fan just because I question decisions that are made.

Bonnie - Well said (applause!)
No one player or coach is bigger than the club.
I’ve watched Van Basten, Baresi, Capello, Weah walk away from this club and lived through it (only just!)
Losing Carlo in a year or two is def not the end for this beautiful club.
A true fan doesnt blindly go along with whatever management want (especially with Berlo/Fester in charge! lol).

even if carlo left who would take over? they would probably go for ex milan players and none of those are good enough coaches for milan. i would like to see him build a new milan team after maldini retires though as i think this team has been together too long and a few players dont really have anything left to give the club. younger players should be blooded instead of players who are clearly past it like emerson and favalli (after all thats how maldini’s career started).

Shehan don’t assume anything about me or how I base my judgments. And your wrong I base my judgments on the heart and skill the player shows. Antonini plays his a*s off every game he’s played so far. 90 minutes is a lot in the position he plays, and he’s a heck of a lot better than some of the players if you can remember correctly.
And football is about winning excuse me for expecting a team like milan, my milan, to win.

“We aren’t having any crisis,” Kaka stressed. “Everyone talks about the two losses and not the 16 games unbeaten.”

“There are some problems, we run so much and are not compact,” he explained. “I was accustomed to being by Seedorf, just behind a single striker, usually Inzaghi.”
Now, it seems Ronaldinho is playing further upfront and Kaka needs to do more of the dirty work. “Ronaldinho? Before I could move from side to side and had more opportunities in attack. Now, I don’t like the way I’m playing.”

dude - saying that we should be beating so-and-so easily is outright arrogance and disrespect to the opposition. And its probably the reason why we have been doing so poorly against those kinds of teams over the past few years. Its just a poor attitude to have regardless of how good your team is. Any given day, any top division team can beat any other top division team, and there is no such thing as a gimme game.
And where exactly does that “beat those non-prestige teams easily” attitude come from? One of our offensive talismen, Dinho, is nowhere near 100% of his true capacity (his own words). Another, Kaka, has been struggling with what is probably some form of tendinitis in his knee, and has been for about a year now. Pirlo is coming off extended injury. Seedorf is getting up there in years. Sheva? No comment. Inzaghi? If he’s leading our front line, then we will never frighten any defenses. Our back line seriously lacks pace, and has struggled with set pieces for several years. We probably have two, three players tops in the entire first team that are actually at their true physical peak. Given that the game is getting more and more physically demanding, that fact alone means that Milan goes out against the majority of top division clubs at an immediate physical disadvantage.
So on what facts exactly are you basing the expectation of “easy” victory over the Genoas and Palermos of the world? I think all of us are old enough and have watched enough football to know that superior technique alone cannot consistently win games - why do you think the Dutch always lose in World Cups when they face their technical equals? Because their squads are always physically inferior! The same follows for club football.

haha, my bad, I’ll calm down. But I will just say that football gets boring if your team always wins and if your team always sucks. Milan keeps things interesting by treading the middle path…and giving us something to argue about

You got that right ^^^

forgot to add…
Milan have been making me live of pepto and 7-up/sprite/sierra mist call it what you want.

They NEED Maldini to retire. When he goes, it will become incumbent on the club to also offload Favalli, Kalac, Shevchenko (?), Inzaghi, Emerson (?)…
The good thing about this is that now the club would need to find players to replace them.
I also think it’s time for Seedorf to move on, at the end of the season.

heart of milan - thanks for that!
@ Shingi - one good reason why the dutch do so badly in World Cups recently has nothing to do with lack of technical ability but more to do with the constant in-fighting between the kids, erm i mean, the players!
Which is a shame coz they generally always have a good group of players to choose from.
I for one, wont EVER get bored of watchn Milan win every game!

A, not Inzaghi. He’s still bagging goals; keep him on the bench. But the rest should move on.

A - what you said is completely true, i even think that inzaghi needs to move on he’s too old and we need new young recruitments in the team.

pera - i agree with what your saying, but everyone is sick of ancelotti’s formations and the style of his so thats why i said wenger could be a great coach for us since he knows how to play and attack.
