    Fergie praises Paolo

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Paolo Maldini is one of his favourite players. According to Ferguson, the veteran Rossoneri defender has always been geared for success. “He has a wonderful presence, competitive spirit and athleticism, and although not the world’s greatest technically, he has influenced all the Milan teams during his wonderfully successful era,” Sir Alex crooned. “He is a truly marvellous player.”

    Truly great pics Avia!

So cool that you got to go, I’m trying to go after I graduate from school next year. I want to go to the Palermo Vs. Milan game, since I’ll be in Sicily, and a game at the San Siro.

This article is claiming Milan has interest in Hamsik and are willing to move Boriello to Naples to make that move happen…not sure how I feel about…they are also claiming interst in Acquafresca…can’t help but feel that this summer is going to a be a real whirlwind…

Even if it’s not confirmed about Carletto, I can’t help but feel like Sunday is going to be a day where two greats are celebrated for the last time at the San Siro…

And yeah Avia, I answered your question in the previous post, but yeah bud, I’m in London. ;)

I cant shake this horrific parallel from the seasons we lost Don Fabio and Baresi…I mean really isn’t the loss of Maldini enough!? Then to consider the potential loss of Carletto, Kaka, Nesta to injury, and even Borriello or Ambro to Napoli…my anxiety levels are built for this shit!

Well, between the Kaka-Man City chaos that was January, losing Maldini, and possibly Carletto now, apparently someone, somewhere thinks that they are, Gian. Never a calm moment, supporting this team…

I wouldn’t mind Acquafresca, he’s quite good actually. I’ve been keeping tabs on him, I didn’t know he was an inter boy though. *rolls eyes*

Is he, Ro? I actually haven’t seen him play too many times…for some reason, my only memory of him is that he’s a speedy character, and got about 10 offside calls sometime earlier this season when we played Cagliari.

I’m still not convinced. I won’t believe Carletto will be at Stamford Bridge until I see it for real.

Also, anyone else read on channel4 that Oddo will be returning?

Great pics avia! Man, you NEVER forget your first visit to the San Siro. Seeing it for the first time is so impressive.

Hana, def try to go to a game in the south as well, Palermo would be awesome. It’s a completely different atmosphere there, really amazing. Though try not to get stuck with the oppositions Ultras, that’s what happened when I was in Napoli!

I like Aquafresca, I don’t think it would be a bad trade for Borriello, he’s never quite fit in at Milan.

Isn’t it weird how none of us would have minded Carlo leaving a few months ago, but when I actually think about him taking charge at another club, it just feels wrong. I hope he stays and takes the record for longest man at the helm for Milan next year, he deserves it.

    He is Hana. He’s very pippo-esque :P

Oh Borriello what can we say about him. Why is it he succeeds everywhere else besides Milan?

That was me Bonnie that said I’m going to try to go to a game in the south. :P I’ll be in my home-town which is about a 30 minute drive. ;D I support both teams so it won’t matter where I sit. Although I will have to sit on my hands so I don’t celebrate when Milan score :P .

Thanks for the heads up, you two ;) Bonnie, I actually remember you telling us about that…how on earth did you even wind up in the opposition ultra section, dear? I had tickets for the Real Betis ultras section at an Espanyol home game a few weeks ago. I said hell no, moved to the home section and no one minded. Different place, different rules, I guess.

Sorry Ro, apparently my literacy/memory takes quite a dive on Friday afternoons!

I bought the tickets from a Napolitano man on the street the morning of the last home match of the season – I wasn’t going to argue about where I was sitting. Though I probably could have gone anywhere, there’s “no control” in Napoli (the Ultras words). It was actually one of the best experiences of my life.
