“B) under Ancelotti, Milan (like Liverpool under Benitez) are a Cup team - they play their best under a high amount of pressure, like one off or two legged fixtures, or games against Inter/Roma/Lazio/Juve. If you can understand that trend, then you can see why they don’t seem to play with much “motivation” in games they don’t feel are that important.” - shingi
This is just an excuse, not a valid reason. A team like Milan shouldn’t be a “cup team” just a great team. If we dont win this year, thats one scudetto in 9 years. And were in real trouble of missing the top 4 again. We’re in bad form and there are a tonne of good teams just behind us. Christmas cant come soon enough…

the match was painful until the last 10mins of the game and that was because we had to attack in order to get anything out of the game.
we need to buy a defender, ancelotti and galliani dont get the point to be honest, we keep dropping points simply beacuse of our defence. we are missing NESTA dearly we need him back from from injury, but mean while we need to buy a denfender for his replacement.
plus we have no real class wingers (excluding Ronaldinho) maybe galliani should consider a winger too.
our closing down today against palermo was totally shit we thats why they saw so much of the ball.
WE NEED SOME PURCHASING IN THE JANUARY TRANSFER!
i might be seen as harsh, but this is the truth and we need to sort it out before its too late.Posted from

I honestly dont think you guys are in big trouble. I do think you need an overhaul in defense with some younger reinforcements. You could also use one or two young guys in the midfield as well. The team needs to get younger - and I dont see selling Kaka’ as helping that.

LorenzoRosanero, I dont think the team needed to younger, but our old guys are much too injury prone now and need to be replaced with guys who arent so injury prone no matter what the age.
For me its a fitness issue

Ancelotti, you’ve overstayed your welcome ol’ man.
You can no longer motivate the team and this has been evident for some time now.
Time to pack your bags… and while you’re at it pls shove that Xmas tree up your backside and take it with you.Posted from

I know this is gonna sound blasphemous to most folks on this blog but well… we were winning while Pirlo was away, weren’t we? And that’s a fact.

R4l, Ive long thought that Pirlo was one of our problems. We probably should havve cashed in on him while he was worth a lot. Nxt summer he will be 30 and probably have a few seasons of bad form behind him annd no one will pay much. He kinda wanted to go too, I think he’s sick of it at the moment.

thats right. we’ll ’settle’ for a 27 year old baptista while you guys can be proud of landing yet another fading player, only this time from the prolific MLS… lol! whatever sells shirts, i guess.

I love listining to clubs with the depth of an olimpic diving pool bitching about the neccessity to invest in the upcoming transfer market…. milan is starting to look like a profit making marketing franchise rather than the glorious football team you once were. David Beckham!!! whats next???? i know! get nakamura, that way you can sell shirts in the orient as well… hahahahhahaha. FORZA ROMA!

there was a bright side of the game - the last 15 minutes were probably the best that we have seen of Ronaldinho on the field for Milan.

Pirlo should NOT be starting. Seedorf is not that good anymore. The entire team is slow and look disinterested. Our defence is getting out worked, out hustled and just plain not good enough to get the job done with any consistancy.
Offensively we move at a snails pace when building up plays. There are no decisive runs, cuts, or moves to get open or to receive a pass. When the last time we’ve seen a goal from a built up play by the mid-field? Or a one two give and go. We’re super slow, and the fact we are using the Christmas tree doesn’t help.
Ancelotti is an intelligent man but he is a reeeeeeeealy sloooooooow learner and a veeeeeeery stubborn man. He’s horrible at motivating, and preparing his teams to play hard, with motivation, purpose and a sense of urgency for 90 minutes+.
Totally new players (World Class Ones with pace) are needed right now to replace Maldini, Seedorf, Pirlo, Flavali, Emerson. I know some of these players are near and dear to us, but IMO they’ve shown that they can’t CONSISTANTLY get the job done on the field any longer. An arguement can be made that they are a liability on the pitch.
Boriello is new so i’ll give him some time, but a WORLD CLASS STRIKER is needed badly. (one with pace)
A CB is needed just as bad and a younger midfielder who can pass and love to run.
After we have these players we need to change the freakin formation to an ATTACKING one with MORE THAN STRIKER.
I don’t understand how he can keep trying that formation after getting no real results from it.
IMO we will continue to see play of this quality & many more results like this until, personnel and/or formation changes are made.

Carlo is not getting the fukkin ponit he plays the same formation in and out. Like what BigDawg4Milan said this milan side need 2 or 3 class players if there to succeed this year. I dont get it Berlusconi is a billionaire and we dont make many big signnigs. i hav heard of rumours linking us with Ramos, that will be a significant signing for us i hope we get him he will help th e team very much. and also why did we buy Shevchenko back, whose fukkin stupid idea was dat, he slow, cant run, cant finish and struggling for fitness, plus Senderos was another fukkin stupid loan why would we need senderos he shit he makes mistakes nearly every game.
we need a class defender badly and striker!Posted from

Not to mention that Shevchenko’s taken up our last non EU spot which means we have limited choices to reinforce in January…but then, who’s reinforcing?

“I’m so tired of Xmas tree I ain’t gonna buy one this Xmas”
This has got to be the BEST statement ever! ROFL
Pirlo was a mess out there yesterday. He looked scared everytime someone gave him the ball he’d quickly look for someone else to pass it off to, which is frightening.
