Why are we not able to score more goals? This is 3rd 1-0 victory i think. We had chances, but we should kill the game well before 90 minutes. Everytime the ball travels into our penalty box, we are forced to watch that it, doesn’t go into the nets.

Anyway Kaka on the scoresheet, that gives him some confidence. Dinho has been hogging the limelight of late. Good that Ancelotti has faith in Kaka, though he missed the penalty last time. He is the heartbeat of Milan and I love it. Dinho would just add to that brazilian flair and enjoy his football that way.

    Forza Milan!!

@GF: Surprisingly yeah he did, after looked back on the match I can’t say there was one player who stood above the rest. Janks played fantastic, Bonera was great, Abbiati kept our lead, Rino was pretty fired up too.
Pretty good game across 2/3 of the pitch, but there was just no finishing today…

Btw I just noticed. We play Juve, Udinese, Roma, Fiorentina consecutively soon, and the last 4 matches are against those teams, in the same order.

Finishing has been the problem over the past 3 games.

Worried about Pato, seemed really out of rhythm with the rest of the squad.

Abbiati made sum outstanding saves 2day and Janks contributed well in an attacking sense.

Kaka, i feel, should get rested for the next match (dont hate me 4 suggesting this!) but he seemed a little out of sorts 2day.

But Dino was outstanding 2day, HE WAS RUNNING! yeah! He’s def gettin more confident on the ball and i saw sum passes 2day that i have seen him make since his glory years in Barca.

Especially 2wards the end, he made a diagonal pass from the half way line right to the penalty spot where ducky was lying in wait, brilliant.

Looks like he’s still improving as he seemed happy 2 run at defenders and demonstrated a number of times 2nite the marvellous way he gets past players, he made several amazing incisions in2 the penalty box and was let down by poor finishn from the his team mates.

Which brings me to the major down point of 2day.

WHERE THE HECK ARE THE GOALS!!??!?!?!!!????

Pippo, Pato and Kakas attempts on goal just seemd so laboured and half assed.

By the 70th min i was actaully beggin 4 Shev 2 cum on for petes sake!!

Its turnin in2 our fave scenario of getting and keeping the ball for long periods, stroking the ball around the park but lacking that killer blow, wtf!

There wer seem really good individual performances 2nite but as a team we were only slightly above average.

i did not get to watch the match as i was a little busy. i don’t have any problem with 1-0 results but 1-0 results from penalties bother me a bit..but anyways win is a win..

I just saw it…..pretty bad dive from Kaka. Dinho, Sheva, Inzaghi, Pato, Kaka, Seedorf and you guys can’t score against Chievo?!

not at all happy with the performance tho will take the result any day…this is not boding well for the tough games coming up soon..inter seems to be gathering steam now after faltering in the middle while we seem to be suffering from the same issue as last season i.e. no effort / half-assed effort against the smaller teams…any win is good but this is not doing anything for the confidence of the strikers…
agree with avia, pato is not connecting at all, tho i really think that the issue is getting him on as a sub, what does it do for him to see a 35 year old inzaghi get preference over him? he needs to start a couple of matches and then sub him out if he isnt playing well – he has to find his rhythm with the rest of the team…
kaka for sure has to be rested, he is one of my fave player in the squad but he is looking out of sorts (regardless of his few runs in the second half)
dinhio for sure getting much better – great performance today…a lot of effort at tracking back, even disposessing the opposition…
rino awesome as always, a few slips but can be ignored
decent performance by bonera tho right flank is not his cup of tea
favalli did well, kaladzhe so so but good that we kept a clean sheet
janks was on fire in the last part of the second half..
abbiati was confident in his saves..came of the line a number of times and put his body right on the line to collect the ball
flamini average but does what he has to do
long post….will now check what bs.com says!

lots of verbiage on the blogs about Kaka and Ronaldinho not working well together and some have suggested benching Ronnie so his fellow Brazilian can “more fully develop” his game. i ain’t buying that; whatever the problem was on the pitch today it had nothing to do with Ronaldinho, who played well in all phases

with you avia in marvelling at Dinho. Game by game his fitness and confidence is improving. Also do rest Kaka for the next game and PLAY WITH TWO STRIKERS!!!!!!!!!!!

We are playing with fire with the xmas formation and not killing off games. Janks was immense and is slowly finding form

I would try Ronnie up front with Pato as a way of beefing up the offense without sacrificing defense.
