Im disappointed we didn't make a stronger effort for marco amelia or hugo Lloris. Id like to see us acquire Igor Akinfeev. I couldn't wear my jerseys to school because of how we were playing (plenty of Juve fans and EPL fans in my school...) But Now I wear them all the time. I love to go down to this one teacher, who's a die-hard Juve fan and just go "Hey, Luch!"(His name is Luciano) and kiss the patch and as how Juve's doing. Couple this with the fact that he is playing behind a "suspect" at best & Doni isn't faced with the sieve like defence that Abbiati is behind. He's consistant & hasn't cost us any points, but (IMO)has saved us from dropping points with some of his crucial saves. I'm not saying he's Buffon...but who is? He's playing well, if you look at the goal scored against him there well placed shots or defensive blunders. Time will tell but I don't think you could ask anymore than what he's already done. I think we can just hope he remains as consistant as he's been thus far. A,
