Halftime Thoughts
By: Gianfranco | January 13th, 2008First things first former Milan forward, and supermodel bagging hero Marco Borriello has 10 goals on the season…ten more than our forwards…OK I am kidding but it would have been nice if we kept him.
Back to the task at hand, defense anyone? PK!?? I absolutely hate Rossetti, he may be the worst referee in Italy. He screwed Milan against Roma and before this one is over I may be cursing him again. Then again if you do not make mistakes you do not have to bitch out the ref, Bonera and Kaladze were both out of postion on the first goal and the second was well, you decide.
Is Pato living up to the hype? Well two point blank misses on net and few great shots have yet to convince me. He is trying to do to much and should just stick to playing his game, he will be fine. A savior? Lets not get ahead of ourselves people.
This game is still Milan’s for the taking but they have to control the pace, and play defense after scoring goals. I will give a full reivew later if I am sober, coherent, and happy enough. We may need to start a collection for my growing drinking habit due to AC Milan, someone call Silvio.

FORZA MILAN! ALE PATO! I AM SO ECSTATIC. I’m not gonna lie, I cried when Pato scored, and he kissed the badge, and everyone went over and was proud of him. I’m so, so happy with how we played. 5 GOALS AT HOME. THAT’S MORE THAN WE’VE SCORED AT HOME ALL SEASON. sure, we had defensive mishaps, but who the hell cares right now. i sure don’t. OUR CURSE IS BROKEN. FORZA MILAN PER SEMPRE, I LOVE THIS TEAM. =]

What have I been saying? What have i said EVERY time the striker question comes up?
“When Ronnie is healthy, he will help us out”
What did everyone say?
No, he’s fat, he’s useless.
Well would you look at that, I WAS RIGHT.
TWO GOALS.
KTHXBYE.

i don’t think pato is the quality he’s hyped to be, but I think in time, he will be scoring 30 goals in the second half of the season. But not just yet, he doesn’t have enough experience.

is everyone else still bowing to the performance we witnessed today!!!!
basically Pato is much much much better than Gilardino. therefore, OLE OLE OLE OLE, PATO PATOOOOO

mele, no one is denying the fact that he has a lot to learn, but you have to give credit where it’s due. He was fighting for every single ball up there, he wouldn’t give up. What a refreshing sight to see. He got ahead of himself at times when he tried to show off, but I couldn’t be any happier with him.
He has a bright future ahead of him at Milan, this match is all that I needed to convince me that he’s worthy to carry on the number 7.

Oh no, I didn’t say he doesn’t deserve credit! he does it was fantastic! but I don’t think he’s quite what he’s been hyped up to be. I mean come on, 30 goals, really?
It’s refreshing to see a strong milan side whoopp an opponent and win for once =]

he needs new shoes too.
everytime he lost the ball when taking on a defender was because he lost his footing.
nike better get their act together for him, he needs better shoes.

haha shehan, I laughed when I read “he needs new shoes”. You have a point, he was slipping up all over the place, but apparently its been raining for a couple days in Milan, so I don’t blame him. He hasn’t gotten used to how slippery the San Siro is…i forgot, some manager earlier this season said that the ground felt like soap at the San Siro.

and Ro, he did, it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! Especially when he made a heart with his hands and showed it to the crowd. I just want to hug him. Ro, no joke, download the match and watch it, you wont regret it =]

Maldini plus San Siro turf equals the greatest slid tackler in history!

Pato worked hard and played well. This is his first game and he has a lot more games coming up to convince me. No doubt he has the talent but once the Serie A players read his game, it will change.
