“Dorf should play to take a bit of attention away from Dinho. He can draw players towards him,and free up Dinho”

Im gonna be honest here and admit that YES against the merda we NEED what Dorf can bring but if he does his usual BS then we will be royally f’d!

And if my brother is reading this (he doesnt post) NO! Its not coz I-Dont-Give-Autographs-Dorf blanked me at Glasgow Airport!!!!!!!!!!

Dorf sucks plain and simple but he’s the only offensive threat we have in midfield other than R80. It really depends on which Dorf shows up.

But if Dorf and R80 do end up starting against Inter the 3rd midfielder (DM) will have a lot of loose balls to chase and attacks to snuff out.

Forget Dinho, the derby is gonna take one Humungous effort from the entire team if we are to have any chance of winning
avia – I was thinking about the same thing. This is gonna be an exhausting clash. On my opinion, Siena will probably be relegated this year (I love the city, though) and Bari was phenomenal in Serie B, meaning that Inter is still a fortress to conquer. Bari will take away points from many other “praised” teams.
I was thinking of fielding a grinding squad and unleash Dinho in the last 30 minutes, bc there will be no time for walking and to wave with the hands on refereeing “errors” and so on… But then again we don`t have any other “creative” option.

on a serious note: regarding our midfield line-up for the derby I was thinking flamini might actually be more useful than seedorf on pirlo’s left flank – because what ronaldinho needs more than anything else are players who run a lot and who will open up for passes through the defence, like flamini did against siena and numerous times in arsenal when fabregas fed him the balls. so I’d put flamini on the left.

however, gattuso wasn’t quite up to par in the last match, so I’d try to do something unexpected against inter – play abate on the right. a fast player with a precise cross who willplay both defense and offense might be just what the team needs to break inter’s deadlock.

so it’s a bit of a gamble, but I might go with abate pirlo – flamini in midfield.

a thought just crossed my mind – nearly all of us were skeptical about milan building a team around ronaldinho…and here we are, ahead of the derby, discussing what players would help ronaldinho and in which way:)

@ Jovan – I think a lot of people are still skeptical about it. But this is where we find ourselves…so we have to deal with the reality of it.

I`m all for Abate too and again, like avia said wouldn`t gamble on Huntelaar. Play a must start Bori with Pato, Hunt/Pippo coming on late for any of those.

I really think we will need dorf in this game as dorf and dinho combine well.. as ranjeet said dorf clogs up the play leaving space for dinho.. so our midfield could be like dorf-pirlo-flamini

i think dorf would be a major liability against inter. inter has no playmaker, the formation and team that faced siena should start again.

avia – ronnie supporting bori/huntelaar and pato!

But not according to our president!

“If I were to choose the team, I would put [Clarence] Seedorf in the number ten position and Pato and Ronaldinho as the first and second strikers.”

Seems like I have something in common with gents like BigDawg, Joey and Rob. To some in here, R80 will have to score 3 goals and play beside Nesta and SIlva as well to get praise…but really who the fuck cares. That’s why it’s a forum. I think some are waiting for him to fail because Milan sold the precious Kaka and put the weight on a “washed up Gordinho”. Well, Ronnie 3 years ago was better than Kaka was, is and ever will be. Hopefully he’s motivated enough with the WC around the corner to prove to the world who the most gifted soccer player really is. Clearly the only thing he has lacked in the past 3 years is work ethic. His skill is not matched by anyone.

In reference to the game, I saw Dinho running hard for most of it. Perhaps Avia, Milams and others think this guy should run hard for 90 minutes….like Pirlo does, Borriello, Pato, etc. Fucking hilarious. Even at Barca, he was this player that you guys obviously do not like. He didn’t play D there, he didn’t run back hard to prevent goals…and yet he was an offensive juggernaut that carried Barcelona. His role was to setup and score goals, period. Why can’t it be that way in Milan? Probably because the quality around him is pretty brutal. I think the quality around him is worse than what you guys think his game has deteriorated to.

Let’s watch Ronnie with Milan on his back. He is going to have a huge year for Milan.

P.S. FUCK INTER! If we can keep them to 1 goal, we have a shot. Our problem is NOT our offense, it’s keeping goals out. If they lose I will await everyone’s criticism of what Dinho should have or could have done.

And it is really stupid for Milan to be giving Dinho a raise. Fucking dummies. He gets paid a lot. Let’s see if he wants to rule the world again…then give him $$$.

Ironic Berlu wants a XMAS TREE!?!?! WTF!!!

Silvo when you say this…”His skill is not matched by anyone.”…It makes you look bad…CRON, Messi, even Arshavin has done some things that would make our dear R80 blush…

I think the pay raise was a part of his original contract, something like he’s supposed to get a raise if the contract gets extended…

gian, speaking of messi, barca with ibrahimovic will crush anyone and anything in its way, including real madrid. just putting it out there. real will concede 4 or 5 goals to barca the first time they meet.

oh how I despise thee, berlu. Wouldn’t trade a 29 year old dinho for anyone in the world?! How about Messi or C-Ron or Kaka or Diego or even Guisseppe Rossi.

Enough with dinho boneration, berlu. Enough.

ugh, its unbelievable, Gian. I could understand if he said 26 year old dinho or the dinho of 05-06, but a 29 year old Dinho is not the worlds untrade-able player. I don’t even want to talk about Dinho at the moment, and this really is not about Dinho. This is about Berlu completely losing his mind and going senile. And how incredibly negatively that affects our club. Our owner has fucking lost his mind. What the fuck are we gonna do?!

Yep his skills are not matched. Difference of opinion clearly. You’re old school Italian, hustle, work, etc. You can not comprehend or accept a player who has God given ability, dominates AND with flair, and then seemingly gives it up, showing no care or desire to continue working at perfecting his trade. You have trouble accepting a player like this. His ability you can’t even understand. Of course you like Kaka and Messi because they are hard working players. They rely heavily on their speed. When it comes to ability with the ball, passing, dead ball situations…there is no comparison. You think you’re going to see the creativity and skill of that bicycle kick from a Messi or Kaka? Come on. If you don’t like the no look passes, the off the wall shit that this guy can do better than anyone well then pray for Silvio to wake up and smell the Gian roses.

Best player on a shit team…pretty sure you said that. Last I checked, Messi is in Barca, Ronaldo and Kaka went to Real. Why not Siena? And the genius Ancelloti, why Chelsea? Hmmm. Painfully tough to ignore you and 3K. Lol.

the plain and simple truth is that milan would not have won the game without dinho’s contributions. i don’t see a need for bashing at this time…
