we should come up with our own award for andrea sleepy pirlo and send it to him. I love kaka but pirlo does deserve something he’s turning out to be maldini the only difference is that he won the world cup and maldini didn’t.

Gourcuff should most definetly play the full 90, its the perfect scenario for him to do that. I just hope Carletto agrees.

As for Pirlo not winning the golden ball for what being what the media calls, “A wet rag” is a shame. It has always been about being a good player and bit of celebrity and this years choice was no exception. Quite frankly, I like Pirlo just the way he is and he does not need to impress me but the guy deserves a little love.

Pirlo is one of my favorite players, a true stand up guy on and off the field.

and yah i agree Milan-Celtic will probably be just a boring game. i got a feeling that Pirlo will shine. thats if Careltto plays the big guys. i want him to play Gourcuff for 90-minutes, the kid has talent but isnt getting any chance at all.

I’m not a huge fan of Kaka but congrats to him for winning that Golden Ball thing. But I never really dig individual awards. Not even the World Player of the year thing. So, when Pirlo did not win the award, I was happy. Pirlo does deserve this kind of individual recognition but Kaka stole the media highlights. Which also essentially means less pressure on Pirlo, no Real Madrids or Chelseas irritating us with plans to lure him, etc. What is more important is the fact that he contributes all the positives to our beloved Milan. He doesn’t need the Ballon d’Or to prove that. Besides, there have been more Milan players who deserve this individual award over the past years but never did. A certain Paolo Maldini is one of them.

yeh, i agree completely kaka is one of my favorites but Pirlo is like no other. He got the accuracy of a sniper and yes he is very consistent, Pirlo gives the team order and structure filling in all the blank spots at times when we are missing a player or even a goal etc.

WE LOVE YOU PIRLO!

I think Milan will beat Celtic as in previous occasions Milan are very good at “revenge” matches

i’m a huge fan of Kaka’, and I’m really happy he won, but I’m so with you on feeling bad for Pirlo. i was so depressed when i read that article where he blamed his lack of personality for not getting more recognition. Kaka’ is brilliant, but he can have moments where he’s out of it. Pirlo has to be one of the most consistent players I’ve ever seen..he needs more love. the end.
