I'm sacred for Pato. And of we see the Uruguayans this year at all...I'll be even more surprised. We should have been up on Cagliari 2 or 3 zip in the first half to give those kids a run in the 65th or 70th minute of the second half.

But when we can't even score against those teams, these kids can't get into the game. That's what happened to Gourcuff last year.

I bet Gourcuff when/if he comes back doesn't play like he's playing in the French League or for the national team for Milan.

Ancelotti is forcing him to play his tactics instead of finding a formation that suits the kid.

Ancelotti needs players that fit his formation & will probably kill the talent of players that don't fit his system.

Gourcuff is amazing...and was sitting on the bench while Brocchi was coming off the bench just about every game last year.

It's all about balance. 5 defensive players + 5 offensive players. That's why you need to have one of Ambrosini, Flamini, Gattuso at all times in my opinion.

That leaves us with 5 players, who can support the attack. Pirlo/Seedorf in a deep creative role + 3 attacking midfielders + 1 striker works.

How about a 4 2 3 1.
midfield looks like:
Flamini/Gattuso Pirlo/Ambro
Gourcuff/Seedorf Kaka Ronaldinho/Pato
           Sheva/Boriello

Thanks Avia, I was telling my dad about what he said and he said that he only played that year with Carletto but I guess he played 4 years at Parma with him too. That's why I was asking because how could he have such a good rapport with him only after a year.

Gian we can only dream...but something tells me that the Milan gang are a little to dense to realize the possibilities.

What makes me mad about the Pato situation is that when he was with Brazil for the olympics and he wasn't "producing" goals Dunga blasted him now that he's playing good he's good enough to call up? I hate coaches like that!

Avia, I agree on Pato, but as he matures he may become a better striker but as of now his talents beg for him to run at the defense. If Milan employed Dinho Kaka Pato all behind Borriello they may have created the single greatest attacking group in Serie A, maybe even Europe.

Theres also been the story about Milan siging Gullit as a European talent scout?

http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/news.html

If Cuffy is worthy then it only makes sense that he begins to push Seedorf outa his starting spot.

As for Pato, im beginin to think he should be more used as a Theo Walcott type of player in that he shouldnt be our out & out striker but deployed where he can open up a defence for a point man.

Its always good to see his little dashes and where he gets pass a couple of players in near impossible runs, Carlo needs to exploit this skill FAR BETTER.

Mexes would be an intelligent move and he only has room to grow at Milan. Cardaccio is ihe mid, but Viudez is like Pato who can play striker but can also step back a line as well.
