Milan 1 - Atalanta 2
By: Gianfranco | March 30th, 2008Today’s game was pretty much summed up with one substitution. You are down 2-nil and remove an “attacking” fullback and put in Brocchi. Folks, welcome to rock bottom…

There really is almost no good to be said about todays performance. Everyone was rubbish, OK maybe not everyone. Ambrosini played with more heart than I though possible, Paloschi gave it his all, and Il Capitano still looks like a kid again. The rest of them well, it was crap. I don’t care if you are a world champion or a bench warmer, todays perfomance does not work anywhere in the world. You must capitalize on your chances and today will prove to cost mightly in the long run.
My hangover, headache, and anger really leave me with nothing to say, and the sooner I can get on with my day the better off I will be. I am almost scared to look at the Viola result, and the rest of the table so maybe someone else can shed some light.

Well said Fet.
But right now, i feel as if im gona puke!
Your right on by using the family analogy but today was like coming home to find out your mama had been mugged but the shock is overcome by anger as you find out how stupid she had been in the first place to get mugged!
forza milan (whimpered, not roared!)

seedorf was off the whole game. that just killed us.
and pirlo needs to do something. that is the biggest thing thats killing us this past month, pirlo has lost his mojo.
pirlo needs to find his mojo, he is the most important cog in our team, and if he doesnt tick, the team doesnt tick…

gian, bang on about ambro and paloschi - they both really played like they cared and wanted to win, ambro especially was really unlucky to have that goal disallowed…

happy birthday ro!
i think milan lost on my bday too so i understand where you’re coming from..
today was simply garbage..
possiblities:
1) milan make CL -> uncle fester and silvio believe team is still good -> get some crappy players -> lose CL again
2) milan make CL -> uncle fester and silvio get a slap on the face and buy a bunch of GOOD players -> compete for league and CL next year
3) milan make uefa -> uncle fester and silvio decide theres not enough money to get GOOd players -> compete in uefa cup, but same old shit in serie a
4) milan make uefa -> uncle fester and silvio see this as a slap in the face, and rebuild -> compete in league, and win uefaPosted from

Happy Birthday Ro
I’m finally back from China (where I was, surprise, surprise NOT ABLE to watch footy matches? What?) Good God, am I happy I missed this match.
It’s over. You know what, if we’re not going to be in the Champions League, I’d rather have us not be in European competition at all. Seriously, fuck this. I just got off a 13 hour plane ride, I’m too tired to respond coherently.

Happy bDay Ro, Milan sucks hard, but you should take note that Paloschi, Maldini and especially our vice-captain Ambrosini was trying really hard to make it a day for you.

So, this is sort of off topic, but still a Milan thing…
Does anyone think Dida will come back? I mean ever, at all, in Italy?
I am not tied into the Milan rumor mill so I thought I would ask the experts. No reason, really, a fried and I were just wondering…..

moka, i think a huuge revelation will happen if we make the UEFA. they cant say they dont have money, everyone knows that they have lots and lots of money and only from our winnings last season which is around 100 million + 300 million from Adidas + other revenue incomes + Big Ol’ Sil Berlu’s wallet.
fans will raid the team if (never say, when) we make to UEFA. ill say it again, 96 all over again.
and happy happy happy birthday ro

johonna, i think not. not only has ancelotti lost all confidence in dida, the fans dislike him by now too. i think the only reason he’s coming back is if kalac gets injured.

A great quote from Galliani today “the ref had a bad game, like Milan”.
Carletto is making some baffling decisions lately. I wonder if it’s time for him to move on. Looks like he cares a lot for locker room harmony and plays the egalitarian and gentleman with his rotations and omissions when it’s really time to be ruthless in order to get results.

happy birthday ro. i guess this year milan has lost on most of our birthdays.

That is a sorry situation when your only option when you need to score goals is Brocchi.
I guess its due to the injury list…
Still, our defense is abysmal.Posted from

Happy Belated B-day, Ro. Sucks that our boys had to put a damper on your day.
I’m just so confused at our displays now. Everything was so chaotic, the performance, the subs, almost everyone’s attitudes. I’m not giving up hope, but I am having a bit of a hard time seeing where we’re going to make up those 4 points on Fiorentina.

I’m almost certain that Milan will not make it to the Champions League next season. Let’s face it, we sucked big time against Atalanta and sorry to say, for most of the season. Personally, and I know I may sound stupid saying this but Milan should just concentrate on winning the Serie A next season. Yes, it means skip the UEFA Cup thing. (ahahahaha..I kill me…I’m going i.n.s.a.n.e.)

To tell you the truth, I would prefer to see Milan competing for Scudetto for a change, European Cups will be damned. But they were playing for money for a long time, and money was and still is, in Europe.

Thank you guys so much for the birthday wishes!
sorry that I haven’t been around lately but with milan’s recent displays I’ve been to depressed to converse about them…because it’s the same thing over and over again.
Thanks again I’ll try to come back more now that i’m feeling a little bit better
