Cafuuuu.. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done in the past 5 years.. You were great and you are a legend, no doubt..
Thanks for making the right decision and not renewing your contract, b/c that’s what was in the best interest of the club.. You’re 37 now, and it’s the right time to say goodbye..
So farewell..

A I am a bit behind here but, Brazil may have accomdated all those players but did not have success with all of them and neither did Barca. You shouldnt have to accomdate anyone, soccer isnt about accomodating, its about clicking as a group and working as a unit, you problably have played and know that.

Dinho doesnt need a new challenge, he has showed that he no longers has hunger for it. He has accomplished everything there is to accomplish, he lacks the desire.

I got to agree with Gianfranco here. Also over-looked is Dinho’s age. He is only 28 but if you sign him long term you are paying him most certainly as much if not more than he made in his mid 20’s as the worlds best player. Given his productivity since the WC in 2006 I fail to see how anyone can justify this as a good move for Milan. Any supporter of bringing Dinho in is assuming he will return to or be close to being the World Class player he once was. To me it is simply too much risk. You give 23-25year olds top dollar not guys who have done it all and made a ton of cash already and most importantly don’t seem to care about winning or playing much anymore given his past year and a half.

At the risk of sounding like im changing my stance, Dino COULD be a good signing IF we get him cheap and IF a new coach CAN find away to re-motivate him.

@Gianfranco
When Dinho starts to scoring and all MilanFans including you are chanting his name becuase of his wonderful performances…Send me your address & I’ll send you a Dinho Milan Jersey. hahahaha (just taking a cheap jab no insult intended)
I think if he didn’t have the desire he’d stop playing. He has enough money to live off of for the rest of his life. I would think he wants to be a part of the 2010 WC. All these things lead me to believe that he is in depressed, burdened & loaded down with the situation at Barca and that is affecting his play. He still has the skill…it’s all mental for him.
Put him in a good mental place and we will see a happy Dinho & happy Dinho = a Dinho that plays well on the pitch.
Sport is all mental.Posted from

so Carletto is staying for sure. no need to talk about anyone else now.
i believe the first week of the off season will be so hectic and will clear a lot of issues. we need to get in early, do our stuff, and get out and start working asap. even though this summer wont be that relaxing for the players, Euro 08 & Olympics(hopefully no Kaka). but if i was Brazilian ill be completely furious. first he misses the Coppa America now Olympics… but as a Milanista, rest our Ricky boy.

and we should all stand and applaud the two amazing Brazilian Cafu & Serginho. two great players who served us through out the years. i remember when Serginho first came, he played with his heart, so determined. i believe his best game (or one of the best) against Inter the 6-0 probably the man of the match. We all wanted them to leave because quite honestly their time is over, its even better that they’re stepping down and we should respect that and thank them for being a part of our family.
Forza Cafu & Serginho. hope the best for you in your future.

lol ro. good thing they both choose a career in football not music.
someone who has a really good voice is Ciro Ferrara. juve signing “il mio canto libero” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kZRT0m-_XI
honestly that was the great golden juve. and the best thing is we took them out in the CL finalPosted from

Galliani on Serginho & Cafu. good to know that they’re still with us in some way. and i will surely miss Cafu’s smile, never seen a player smile as much as him.
“Sergio and Cafu will stay close to us. Serginho will become an observer in Brazil, starting from July. Also Cafu will stay close to us in a sense, because his son will continue playing here, in the Primavera or the Beretti team. He will return to San Paolo and perhaps continue playing there. It will be hard to find two full backs like them, Serginho and Cafu are the best. It’s too bad, we are losing players who have made history for us. I will miss the verve and the smile of Cafu, the runs and the crosses by Serginho. I hope one day we will have new players who can make me forget about these two.”

“I hope one day we will have new players who can make me forget about these two.”
I know what he meant to say, but this just struck me as a very odd statement. But seriously, Cafu has the best smile and personality in football. I remember Sir Alex Fergie saying that he had two hearts because of his seeming ability to run forever. What a lovable person. Serginho will indeed be remembered for his awesome running down the flanks and them killer crosses. But yeah, Fetyani is definitely right about their incredible contribution to Milan history, even if they’re not apart of our plans. I will miss them both incredibly much and wish them the best in their future pursuits and am happy to hear that they will stay close.

Ah, I love pimping our players speaking in English! Haha, the most hilarious interview in English goes to Ricky, speaking after the CL Final last year. someone commented that he sounds like Borat in the video, and you guys will quickly see why. “Very nice!” His English is quite good though, as much as I love Sheva, it was a complete bullshit excuse. Much love to our Ricky!

Clarence can speak like 5 or 6 languages, he’s a beast, and Il Capitano’s English is flawless, I’m quite impressed.

And the last bit from me right now…I am ALL over a real Offside meetup during either of the derbies next year! (The first one depends on when the fixture occurs) Aww, it would be amazing, we could totally chill in Milan before and after the match, make a huge Milan Offside banner…It makes me really happy just thinking of it!

Fetyani, I want to take a moment and applaud Cafu and Serginho as well and will most certainly do a proper post devoted to them. Those two guys did some amazing things for Milan, especially Serginho who had the unenviable role of playinf or an injured Paolo at Left back, and subsequently alongside him as well! Excellent players who may have hung on a bit to long making us forget the good they did, but rest assured there was plenty of good!!

Im all up for it. i have a few objectives next season, 1- go to the Milan Derby (home game). 2-Milan-Juve @ San Siro. 3-Go to a game @ the Christmas break. or/and mid February (school break).
and i have 1 main objective in my life so far. go to Maldini’s farewell game, i wont forgive myself if i dont go.
i just need to stay focused and calculate my spendings. so far im messed up big time. i think i still have some debt left for my last visit. oh well, we can all apply for credit cards and lets worry about the debt after we go

I believe the National teams must have priority. And I don’t believe in retiring from NTs. You should be available and until they stop picking you.

A, if the Netherlands federation wants to, they can legally report him and ban Seedorf from playing at any FIFA competition, including Serie A, practically every league in the world. but i dont think they have a big grudge on him to go that far.
