Pippo, has never been a good partner to anyone, and Oliveira was a failure of epic proportion. The more pressure put on Gila the less he produced and his confidence went to shit. You know as well as do that when a player does not have confidence he finds it hard to succeed and Gila is no different. We cant forget that the year after Sheva left Gila scored in almost every single one of Milan's away wins... He wasn't good enough to do it. Inzaghi even did enough for Ancelotti to make him a regular at the end of last season, so there's something wrong with Gilardino. Carlo played one formation in and out no matter who was on the field. That formation being the ever loved christmas tree. The Christmas tree wasn't a formation that suited Gila's style of play, which is why he sucked IMO. I'm glad he's having all the success with the Viola that he's had so far. On the Christmas tree I'm afraid that if he does use the Christmas tree, against Inter, and we get a good result he'll think it is a good idea to bring it back.
