Had to Share…
By: Gianfranco | September 17th, 2009When I saw this quote from Giancarlo Rinaldi I had to pass it along…

In the beginning, there was Super Pippo. Through him all goals were scored, and without him there was nothing. He was the one player to light up Italian football’s darkness. And it sometimes feels as if he has been answering our prayers since the beginning of time.

I love super Pippo. I predict that these two goals won’t be his last during this year’s competition. Remember in 07′ when Milan was criticized for not having a world class striker to co-exist with Kaka? His second goal during the final in Liverpool was proof that the man is a legend and will be remembered forever as a world class striker.
Some other players are fixated on securing more money, or partying, or complaining about playing time.. Not Pippo, he’s just fixated on putting the ball in the back of the net when he’s on the field. The man just loves to score!
Forza super Pippo!

I’m not sure if Pippo is world-class but he’s sure in a class of his own!

That’s okay, mickey… it’ll get better when you reach fifth grade.

To see Pippo celebrate after each goal is priceless. So much enjoyment. His ability to frustrate other teams defenses is only matched by his ability to stay offside on every other play (and never concede the point, lol).
Grazie Pippo. We love you for that.
BTW only Nesta’s angelic disbelief on the foul committed beats Pippo’s frank amusement with offside flag. Just close your eyes and replay.Class never fades.

Inzaghi is ugly. He looks flipping ugly when he scores. His goals are ugly. And his children will probably be ugly.
But..
…I just love him!He is truly world class!

ASL, his girlfriend is definitely NOT ugly.

I have to say his goal are actually not that ugly, some of the finishes are top class, and the fact that he can put himself into that position is pretty in its own right…

i love Pippo, he made me genuinely happy many times in the past decade. his passions wins over everything. Maybe Dinho can learn a thing or two from a living legend. in time the word Pippo Inzaghi will be synonym to Goal.

Can’t say i understood what Michey said, but i certainly don’t feel offended by it, so i say let him be til he comes out with shit we actually understand..

did he equal gerd muller’s record or is he just behind it? i have read conflicting reports on that. he has to be one of the most underrated and disliked players of all time and i think thats why i love him so much!

Did you guys see that Galliani said Ronaldinho was no different than any other player??? I almost spit out the tea I was drinking while reading that line! He’s either a god or one like the others, can they make up their mind?!?

Inzaghi is a genius. Why dont you guys give Abate more of a go. You need more pace on the wings. I like Seedorf’s game, was classy.

what do ye think of the match v bologna? They beat milan last season before dinho’s winning streak but Milan were a lot stronger then. I know bologna are on a poor run but i’m thinking they will glory in the time given by the lack of defensive work in milans mid and di vaio’s always a danger, certainly more than pato or huntelaar at the other end. Bookies have milan as hot favourites 1/3 and bologna rank outsiders 15/2 . big odds?

I honestly think we will crush bologna on the wings of CL win.Its practically our first home match so i think it will be easy.
Casillas,Cech,Reina are congruent with the fact that this year CL ball is absoulte garbage thats kind of interesting…

that’s surprising too pera as they are both adidas products (madrid jerseys and champs league ball) and normally the players won’t criticize sponors (think beckham).
