Can You Believe This!
By: Gianfranco | June 29th, 2007This is a list of players who have snubbed AC Milan during this transfer window:
Suazo - good riddance
Abidal - didn’t your old frenchness anyway.
Eto - snub or not, he may still be on the way.
Sheva - poor baby still wants to prove himself at Chelsea
Tevez - didn’t actually snub, but prefers Inter
I mean is there some kind of plague at the Rossoneri camp, did we not just win the Champions League? Maybe the old age of the team portrays them as not fun partiers like Inter? Could it be that we have to many Italians/Brazilians so no one likes us? I mean geez I am a nervous wreck, I feel like I am part of club that no one likes or is ashamed of, like Juventus fans, MLS groupies or USMNT supporters.

Not to get all political, but maybe its Berlusconi. Karma’s bound to bite that guy in the ass sometime in the near future. To see someone I like and respect as much as Maldini fawning all over that scumbag after the CL final was nauseating.

Don’t forget Tiago, who turned down a better offer from Milan to go to Juventus.
Perhaps it has to do with the club’s attitude, the fact that a player should be grateful to play for Milan, even on the bench. It also doesn’t help that Milan is seriously overloaded in terms of manpower and still want more players.

We may have manpower, but it’s ageing. Eventually, we’re going to mix it up in midfield and defense and bring in youngsters like Gourcuff and Grimi (out on loan, oh god) to learn under the wing of our experienced demigods. I have no faith in our strikers, so that would probably be the priority.
