Wednesday Milan Musings; Weah Time

By: Gianfranco | January 16th, 2008

I am planning a full post devoted to the second best African footballer of all time, behind only a one Didier Drogba. I thought I would preface a Weah day in the future by showing what really is one of the greatest goals in Milan history. Enjoy

    Wa!?!

Drogba better than Weah??? (Am i reading this right?)

Dont get me wrong nothing would please me more than to see Drogba at Milan (God i hope those rumours turn out to be true!) apart from maybe the return of Sheva. His addition to the squad alongside Kaka and Pato/Ronaldo would be sublime and fearsome. I have watched him at Chelesa since he started and i would rate him as one of the best strikers currently in Europe but even then i dont know if i would credit him (or Eto’o) with being in the same league as Weah.

Come-on this is Weah man! I dont even think Drogba could match what Weah did in that Youtube clip!

PS tonights match was pants but thanks to Gianfranco and Fetyani for the hook up.

Emerso and Gila have got to go!!

I remembered this one vividly, with 5-6 players chasing after him and slammed the ball into the net. Magnificent King George!

in my honest opinion, i believe George Weah is the best African player of all time, no one is remotely close to him.

With all due respect Weah is probably the best African player of all time, and I also rate Eto’o and Essien higher than Drogba. Nothing wrong with Drogba though.
