THE BEAST?
By: Gianfranco | July 23rd, 2007Julio “The Beast” Baptiste, who was originally outed right here on the theoffside.com by some faithful readers (maybe I have taken to much credit) as the Milan mystery man. But alas The Beast (which I can deal with as a nickname) has snubbed the Rossoneri, saying that he would like to prove himself at the Bernabeu. As a target Baptiste is not all that bad due to his age and relative abilities but again I would much rather prefer a non-brazilian striker. But then again for prince Kaka to be happy he needs his Brazilians buddies, we all know that Silvio will do everything he can to help his favorite little Brazilian.

Isn’t anything under 37 young for the Rossoneri?

paolo maldini is still better than most defenders out there, and if they gave me a backline of 4 fit 39 year old maldinis, ill take it in a heartbeat

Baptista is all wrong for Milan. The player they need is Roque Santa Cruz, he is fast, dominant in the air and has graet ball control. With Ronaldo and Kaka that could be the best attacking trio in the world. I know he just signed for Blackburn but I am hoping Milan can still buy him of them. I tried but failed to reach Ancelotti and daliver my message to him so if you can send me an e-mail where he can be reached I would be grateful. Fan and long time player of various manager simulations
