So in this friendly, despite having no real attack, in the last few minute’s we’ve had almost all the possesion, disposessing the other team, and putting on incredible pressure around their box, looking really menacing, with some great little runs and passes, but then we just can’t break through and score..

I sort of think that is GF’s point, Dhaw.
And with a crappy defense, the scoreline may be more like 4-3. The question is, can you always depend on the forwards to deliver those 4 goals?

Who the heck is this team Milan’s playing? They’re kicking some butt…

Down 2-0 now, hm…to Abbiati’s credit, that was a great freekick from Gijon.

“Thanks for the memories pal, but you are at square one with me. Clean slate. Time to prove how much you really love Milan…”
by doing what exactly? Milan did a fantastic piece of business when they sold Sheva in the first place. They sold a player that was already showing signs of permanent-looking decline in form and who was coming off an injury and sold him for a huge sum. And now they get that same player back for next to nothing.
As to the pre-season, every player has sucked. This team has no punch without Kaka, it’s as simple as that. If they have to start the season without him, then let’s hold a prayer session that Dinho, Pato , Sheva raise their, gel with the rest of the squad and really hit the ground running.

Sheva needs to prove that he is willing to make amends here at Milan, play when needed, work hard, and make himself an asset and not a player who has seen better days. Superstar is a title that is earned and not often regained, but he has to prove he is willing to do what is asked of him when he is called upon.

Lets not overwhelm ourselves and sheva with unrealistic expectations: he is not coming as a savior.

Sheva is the one in search of a savior!

The sad things our savior is an out of shape brazilian and not a poor form Ukrainian…

Nina, his savior is no other but Silvio.

i just watched a short video of Sheva’s arrival, and i all i can say, he is too damn stupid to leave the people who love him like he’s family. honestly, i want the fans to warmly welcome him back, he made a mistake, we all do, forgive.
Dinho and Sheva’s arrival in Milan.

For God’s sake give the guy a chance. Why is there so much animosity towards him? We all make mistakes.
And firstly I’m one of those (few) who believe he moved to England because of family reasons purely. And as for his ability (and being so-called out-of-form), his style just wasn’t suited to the Chelsea style of play. Contrary to the sublime passes he was receiving at ACM from Pirlo,Kaka,Seedorf,Rui Costa and co., over there he was left to chase long-balls. No creative service from the midfield if you know what I mean. And to add to that 9 players in the team who all want to shoot and go for glory themselves.Morientes failed spectacularly at ‘Pool and once he was back in Spain with Valencia he was banging them in like before. Ian Rush had a miserable time at Juve before he was back to his best at ‘Pool.
I’m sure Sheva will be too.

Sheva’s resigning is an example of what makes such a beautiful club, and also such a myopic club. Only here can a player return after such a painful separation and be received again like the prodigal son. Only here can a 30+ striker coming off two bad seasons can be signed by a club the stature of Milan.

All we need is Kaka to be back in form soon and we are laffing.
Yes Shev turned his back on us.
No player is bigger than the club.
But to ask to come back cant have been easy.
Im sure he has had to talk to Berlo & Galliani and i dont believe it was easy.
But look at the facts, who do we currently have upfront & ready to go for the start of the season?
Pato & Paloschi??
There is no way that Shev is coming back to take it easy, he knows he has alot to prove and many a fan to win back. The real question is whether he can get back to sharpness and how long it will take.
We were arguing not that long ago about how we needed a “Battering Ram” type of striker upfront, Shev pretty much fits that bill (yes, he has to get back to match fitness, but he wont lack any motivation!).
All this squad needs is injuries & fatigue to be overcome and we r laffing. (Oh, and for Carlo to best make use of all the players he now has! – rry more than the xmas tree darn it!).

Gazzetta reporting that Milan have signed Senderos on loan with an option to buy.
