Look, frankly I get annoyed when people reference stats in football, it’s never been a game of stats and when you start putting it in numbers, it ruins the game. Football is dynamic, period.

Fair enough to an extent, but you cant just ignore the stats.
Im more against Seedorf than anyone and want him gone, but even i have to accept that the stats this season have supported Seedorf.

And like i said i think the only explination is that he has played with kaka and the others for so long, the team is more comfortable with him.

That doesnt mean he shouldnt get the flick tho..

Lets see. Barca were willing to sell us Etoo for the same price. Diego Milito joined Genoa for 8 million. Thats 2 signings who would have clearly been better than Dinho. We needed a striker and Galliani bought us a playmaker. And you are actually stupid enough to think Dinho and Kaka will start games together in the future. Plus I want Gourcuff at Milan, and so Dinho has to go.
We wont kick Dinho out,but I am hoping he decides to leave. Or he can be happy with 15 minute cameos every week. Then I dont mind him. Kaka and Dinho dont play well together,so both will not start together.

And lets see. Boriello is nowhere as good as Dinho then,if he is priced at only 12 million. Yet most Milan fans would prefer seeing him over Dinho. Why? Because we have a better balance then. So it doesnt matter whether we got a striker for 17 million or less, most strikers would have been suited to our formation. Plus Carlo likes Etoo a lot. Would have been great had we gotten him, over a player who wasnt needed, isnt still needed and will never be needed.

Next year I hope we can play a 4:3:1:2 or a 4:3:2:1 with Gourcuff and Kaka behind a lone striker.

Zito “he lost the ball various times trying to do things that he doesn’t have the skill for”

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday all i saw Booed-By-The-San-Siro-Dorf trying to do was try the clever, slick through balls that Dino actaully manages to pull off

Also, how many times did anyone see Pass-Backwards-Dorf track back and do anything when we lost the ball…erm about one as far as i can remember

When we lost the ball he just drifted around kinda the same way Ronnie does lol!

Dorf is an idiot, and I reallly want him out. I realise the role Carlo wants him to play, but this is not the Dorf of 2003 or 2005 anymore. We need a replacement for him.

Plus this whole Dinho and Kaka can’t start together to me is kinda stupid to be honest. They’ve played in the same brazilian team for years side by side, if the brazilian coach could get Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Robinho, adriano and the rest to work together, why can’t the milan coach get two of those to play on the same field?

I’m gonna say this even though I may get attacked for this, as much as I love Kaka, I believe it was his words and his selfishness that caused Dino to be benched indefinitely.
Dinho was playing regularly till Kaka told the press that dinho takes away from his touches and whatnot. After watching the game yesterday, I realized the reason he actually takes away from his touches is because they both play kinda a free role in the attacking midfield role, they play wherever the ball is and when Dinho is on the field, they’re both limited to playing an actual position and of course he won’t see the ball that much then.
    That to me is selfish.
When you get a new teammate, instead of working together, you go to the papers and speak negative of them?
Kaka knows in the brazil team, he is just one of many stars, but in Milan it’s his show and the people love him too much so whatever he says go basically and ever since his statement Dinho has come on as a sub.

Please do not tell me that it’s Kaka’s team because that would make Milan look pathetic and put it on par with Roma where whatever Totti says is scripture. No team is any player’s, Messi has never been heard claiming that a teammate takes away from the touches, and Barca isn’t Messi’s team, just like how Man U isn’t Ronaldo’s team. I can’t believe no one has noticed that, Kaka is just angry that when Dino is on the field, the other plays just don’t look for Kaka anymore, he’s starting to remind me of Riquelme in the way that if they’re both not the star, they complain.

Seedorf is horrible & needs to be sold; he’s said many times before that he has an admiration for the Pl and its high tempo game.. anyhow what im trying to say here is that this summer Galliani would be wise to cash in on him by offloading him to City or Tottenham because the way hes shitting up the play cant be explained if its not a lack of motivation than what is it? never in my life have i witnessed a man play as horribly as the dutchman did on Sunday; couldnt pass or dribble and to cap it off the muthafucka gets himself a Goal which means another easy unearned start next week. (Seedorf=Ladri)

Zito because they dont feel like it thats why, as a Genuine Selecao fan I’ve witnessed Kaka & Ronaldinho Partner each other succesfully many times.. especially in 2005-2006. they were excellent in the Confederations Cup together but kinda flopped inexplicably at the World Cup.

The Problem is in the Selecao you usaully have to holding Midfielders (G.Silva & Melo) Ronaldinho on the left as a winger, Kaka and a box-to-box type Midfielder Say Elano who plays as the Right winger behind two Strikers. Problem for Ronnie here is Milan do not play like that as i think its way to attack minded for us anyways.. so unless Ancelotti can pull something special outta his *** and find another formation or tactic; stops being gay with Seedorf whilst finding a system of play that suits them both for the football his team wants to play i think this Kaka-Dinho debate will go on and on.

Well i’ll support Kaka anyday. Its upto Kaka to decide what he wants to say. If he is not comfortable with Dinho,he will say it. I dont care if he is selfish. Dinho has no place in this team. At 29,I think he still is good, and if he goes to a club, where he is the focal point of the attack,Dinho can shine. Sitting on the bench,is doing him no good. We know Carlo is stubborn, and how much ever Dinho does,I dont think Carlo will ever trust him enough, like he trusts Dorf or Kaka.

lol I guess, I just see it as a bit selfish. Plus why he trusts Dorf is like the mystery of the world to me, I seriously believe if we find the reason that Carlo has so much faith in Seedorf, we might find eternal life.

Zito – I’m with you 10000% on your comments, although I recognize the reality that it is Kaka’s team and thus until he better coexists with Dinho on the pitch and Dinho improves his form, Dinho will be a sub. I interpret Ancelotti’s ofte repeated statement that Dinho will return next year to mean that he will try to find a way to make this work — Milan cannot afford to pay a huge salary to Dinho as a bench warmer.

a bit HOPE then a lot DISAPPOINTMENT … that summarizes yesterday’s game, and this season as well …

The hope was Inter did tie ahead of our game. Had said dreaming of title is too far, I can’t stop imaging to bring more pressure to Inter in next game (the only way to cause some disaster) … The disappointment was of course, we GAVE (not LOST) the two points back to Inter. We gave up, some before the game, others after the tie. Only Inzaghi’s upset told me that he still cares maybe? but he was subed at that moment …

The champion is never decided by 1 particular game, but truly by a combination of those games. If we look back after the season when is over (it is pretty much now), the first two losses might be a key. But remember at certain point we recovered the deficit (largely by winning the 1st derby) and stand at top for 1 week? We lost the second derby but more importantly lot points before this very recent run …

There are always more excuses to lose a title (than reasons to win it). Injures in particular, and I agree with that … But we haven’t win this for 4 or 5 (So long I can’t even remember) straight seasons now, and I think other reason matters more. Milan has always been classy and elegant, which is the reason to have so many fans. But what we need most is the fighting spirits. Like Liverpool overcomed us in one game, or like we won the most recent CL champion. I was laughing when read liverpool was still believing the title (with 6 points deficit). But I remember I laughed at them before (when the damn ESPN asked during the break if it is possible …)

My point is I really don’t believe the Milan that won CL champion couple of seasons ago is a much better team in terms of capability. What I believe is because we won that and later in Japan, we lost a lot ambitions to fight (season long). In stead, we sit and counting how many trophy we won … it takes too long (because we won many).

So where is Milan’s ambition? Are we happy to be most international trophy winner?

    to k,

No no, sorry man i didnt mean to sound arrogant or like a fanboy or anything, i’m not at all. I just dont like it when people say someone like Camoranesi is way over the hill and done, which i’ve been hearing lately, and i think is stupid. And yea, Pirlo and Camoranesi play different positions also, but both are basically playmakers, Camo’s just on the wing and Pirlo’s in the middle, whereas De Rossi is a defensive midfielder. I apologize though if i came off as arrogant or anything like that. And Camoranesi was, and still may be, the best italian midfielder. Certainly in the Euro i think he was. Right now it might be De Rossi, but if Camo keeps up performances like this, then the title goes to Camo. And in 06, yea Pirlo probably was the best, but Camo and De Rossi werent far behind.

Cool. I have to say though, ive heard people saying on goal.com that it was boring, but i thought it was actually a really good game. Very back and forth. Juve dominated the first half a little more, and Milan dominated the 2nd half a little more, and overall it was a very even game. And i think Ranieri told the players to park the bus in the closing minutes, because normally Juve is not like that, which shows Ranieri is not Juve material.
