lucky lucky win today. Personally I would have called the foul by inzaghi in the lead up to the goal. Thats not to say Cagliari werent pushing and pulling on our players all day so perhaps it was karhma.
Seedorf was the most undeserving recipient of a goal on the pitch tho. For a guy who wants to be a trequartista he came much too deep for the ball and left inzaghi isolated.
Im on the anti-ancelotti side. We can squibble over the finer points but weve one just one scudetto under his reign and thats not good enough, even with 2 CL titles.
On a happier note, Although Senderos isn’t all that elegant or skillful, it was great to see so much energy from a milan player, if all our players had that energy we’d still be in the race.

Samuel, those reports are lying, despite a few good passes, i thought Seedorf was terrible and certainly didnt play his role well even if one did think he played well in general

and on the debate of youth vs experience, my view is clear: for me there’s no legitamate reason why youngsters like Vuidez, Cardaccio & Darmian dont get at least 15 minutes on the pitch once in a while to gain some experience. Carlo just wont change so until he leaves there’s no hope for these youngsters! by benching them regularly he takes away thier only possesion, Potential. think about it seriously for a second why does Favalli & Emerson get playing time ahead of Antonini or Flamini?

thanks Patcook you certainly gave me a good summary & painted a nice scenery of the game. I thought Seedorf at least did well now but it was not to be, at least we got 3 points.

“milan 4 life | February 22nd, 2009 at 4:23 pm–favalli, emerosn, shev, kalac, dida, maldini, ambrosini, seedorf and kaladze should all leave this summer without a dought.”
============
I would keep Ambro, but add Carletto to that list and I’m good!!!

Players (good & bad) from today:
——-
Good: Pippo (but he’s old), Senderos (just alright but goofy), ***Janks (he is probably the most consistent player for us right now)
–
Bad: EVERYBODY ELSE!!!Posted from

Samuel – fanks man! trust me the pleasure’s all mine!
I STILL get a buzz from watching them myself lol!
As for the match, it wasnt the most convincing win (so whats new?)
Seedorf played BETTER but so what, if he’s only showing up for one in four matches then is he really worth still having imo??
take a sqizz at these for info about 2day

Patcook – didnt see your earlier comments but “Seedorf was the most undeserving recipient of a goal on the pitch tho”
i DEF agree with that and the thing about how he’s always crying to be in the trequartista role but when he does, he’s usually crappy, totally spot on, the best summing of Seedorf
performance today!I STILL cant believe we where only 1-0 up and we finished the game with NO STRIKERS!
for sum1 who’s meant to be underpressure, Carlos seems to be kinda flippant with the way he goes about delivering the goods!

Thanks avia, im sure you enjoyed watching them as well. I’d love hackling Dida if i had the chance.

After the team had all walked thru the departure gates, all the fans that were there compared autographs & pics they had got and some asked about Crapchenko, everyone laffed coz no one had really noticed him lol!

haha, poor Sheva. to be true i still admire and respect the guy but you gotta admit coming back has really screwed things up for him! nowadays he’s looked upon as a traitor and a flop, that cant feel good.

on another note, Kaka and Pato will be fit in time to face Bremen on Thursday right? because by the look of things today we are going to need one of them out thier if we are to put Diego and the Germans to bed at the San Siro. and i see Carlo’s a smart man. at least he realises the fans are finally fed up with his no Scudetto winning behind! he should please just do us all a favor and leave, take the oldies with you while your at it.

Ditto on Shev, but the bot F’d himself badly.
More so now that he’s back imo, he’s got nowhere to go but DOWN, he would WANT to sign him now??
Im pretty sure that both Pato & Kaka will be playn against Werder
Catch y’all later, im off

Well Sheva shot himself in the foot by moving to Chelsea. he thought he would win more trophies. I guess he never expected he would become a virtual unknown this year, that too at Milan. I dont feel sorry for him.
Carlo admitted that the fans dont seem to like him that much. He at least got one thing right.Posted from

Hey shehan, if u never see young players on the pitch how are they gonna become something??? Going by ur logic why did Pato deserve a chance against napoli last yr. he was just a talent . nothing more right?? so why did he play??? if he was given the same chances as viudez he wouldnt be what he is now. i am not saying viudez is the best thing ever but if he isnt given atleast a few chances we cant even make a judgement on his ability…

sushan, i agree with your first line, but at milan we can’t really afford to ‘try’/'test’ players because if they fuck up then its gonna be a huge problem. and to compare viudez to pato is really illogical. pato has so much talent that you can see it on the training ground (where every coach judges his players from). carlo knew this kid was raw talent and therefore he DESERVED a place in the starting lineup. not because he was 18 years old, but he really was that damn good. the rest is history.
carlo knows way more about his players than we ever will. and even though ill dispute some of his choices, i’m never gonna say that they are ignorant; out of respect of the fact that he is the coach of milan, not me. i don’t even have a fraction of football knowledge that he has. i don’t even think i will ever achieve a fraction of his knowledge.
but just in case you didn’t know (because what you wrote seemed pretty naive), coaches judge their players by what they see on the training pitch. thats the big problem with balotelli on the shit side of milan. he’s only giving ‘25% effort’ in training according to mourinho; how will the coach judge his player if hes not playing to his best? coaches can only initially judge players by what they see on the training ground. and if there isn’t enough quality, the player simply isn’t good enough.

I can’t understand this hatred towards sheva,he dont play and not destroying the team like seedorf…
leave him alone,he have contributed so much to milan and least you guys can do is respect him…
he use to be the best player we have in milan and when his form is decline u guys started calling him traitor, flop etc..???!!even kaka can’t outshone him at his best day,we all know someday kaka will experiance that too…
if at the end of kaka’s career he have a form problem like sheva,i guess u guys will curse him too rite??haha..
ronaldo, rivaldo and many more have to endure the same thing…
that’s karma,u cant always be at the top…not everybody can be Paolo Maldini…huh!

http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/video/mil-cag-vid.html — some hilarious commentary on this one “Seedorf, fully justifying his selection on the team ahead of Ronaldinho with his SECOND GOAL OF THE SEASON” … brilliant, just before the curva boos him off for the 3rd consecutive match.

On Sheva… no comment, he left us, I hate Chelsea, and he is out of form… no comment.

JAPEtheAPE, i think we are in the same road, we always seem to agree. all old players should go this year. coz nowadys our team isnt good enough to challenge for the title and champions league. and i definately agree with you about carlo leaving. bring in rijkaard. what do u fink JAPEtheAPE.

I am all for bringing in WHO EVER the players will work hardest for.
I want to see 110% effort from all the players on the field!!! and whoever the players will play hardest for, then he should run the team…
–
I want a strong leader coaching this team. and yes I want ALL the old players to leave… RINO can stay and maybe even AMBRO can stay(i feel he is a true Milanista!). other than them, SELL Pirlo to the highest bidder, SELL Seedorf & Emerson & Favalli & whoever esle isn’t worth a damn….
—
Paolo should retire or agree to come in off the bench next year… I wouldn’t mind him going out on a positive note!Posted from

and you know what, its not just about old.,
its about wanting to win and succeed. and i just dont see that out of our current older folks… so they go and in comes new talent, new formation, and new intensity… with a new coach.Posted from
