It certainly wasn’t pretty but I don’t know if I’d go as far as ugly. They outlasted Atalanta and they took advantage of a rare scoring opp. It was beautiful watching the expressions of passion and fury in Rino, Borriello, and Kaka. Very, very happy with the result as I’m sure the rest of you are. Genoa holding Inter to a draw makes it all the better.

Yea, see last year, it would have stayed at 0-0, and dropped 2 points. So yea, totally agree with Gian about games like this being the ones that decide the title.

    :D

Drop Dinho, put in the Dorf back for Wednesday’s game!

HOW on earth can one convince ancelotti to play the young guys?
BTW, are we the oldest serieA team? am sure we must be!

The mentality needs to change. Milan need to invest more money into nurturing youth talent and slowly blending them into the 1st team. Once you have that mentality, then you get young players (like Wenger does, but we’re not asking Ancelotti to do it as much Wenger does) . Once you have those young potential players, you give them a chance.

It’s a long process, which will take many years to implement at Milan.

For now, just expect our two favourite players, Emerson and Favalli to pop up every now and then. And do not expect Cardaccio, Viduez, Darmian to play more than 17 seconds in an Italian Cup match.

when i saw emerson come on for flamini my heart sank :( i was so disappointed. i thought it would have been a great chance for some1 like cardacio (who claims to be pirlo-like in skills) to come on for us… sadly though this kid wasn’t even on the bench. will ancelotti EVER change?!

I don’t see it changing anytime soon, guys. Berlusconi and Uncle Fester love the attention they are getting.

I missed the match but saw highlights right after it finished. Great ball by Borriello to Kaka, so glad we put our faith in him again.

What a freaking great day for football, Chelsea lose at home, Inter held to a nil-nil draw and we scrap out a win against a team that we have a hard time with to go within one point of the top!

same old problems for milan. if we win the scudetto playing like this it will be the ugliest scudetto ever!

Fiorentina have me worried, they look strong again.

lol @ Roma, thats what you get when you rely on an injury prone Totti, they shouldve bought Gila, or at least tried to so we couldve jacked up the price.

We had inzaghi, sheva and pato on the bench! ignoring the backup keeper, half the bench were strikers when we were playing a one striker formation.

The question isn’t why werent more youngsters on the bench, but what exactly was Ancelotti thinking?

Was he planning on going from one striker to 4?

It meant that Emerson was our only option when Flamini was injured.

Ancelotti’s tactics continue to confuse and frustrate me.

J – In la Liga I support Valencia, I was quite happy with their draw today, puts them back at the top of the table.

Even if Cardacio had been called up, he never would have been put in when Flamini got injured. I seriusly have no idea why we bought him and Viudez with the way Carlo operates.

I’m quite gutted for Roma. I know it’s easy to mock them this year, but the hand-ball by Gila today really reminded me what a class player De Rossi is.

J – last year was football hell for me. Frankly I’m in a little shock this year… it doesn’t feel the same if one of my teams aren’t battling some eternal struggle.

Did everyone else know Pato’s girlfriend posed for Playboy? Apparently they aren’t quite the wholesome couple Kaka and his girlfriend were! http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=934071

didn’t watch the game but the milan website and many other match reviews plus all the players interviewed said pato coming on allowed us to win the game because of his speed and positive contribution.

well, I’m certainly glad we walked away with the 3 points… but it was certainly ugly!

I still dont understand why Carlo is sticking with the Christmas tree formation?!
It seems that we have a much better attack when we have two strikers up top.

    Bravo KAKA for his efforts!
