alex, it has been my dream since 1997 (Franco’s Addio game) to go to Paolo’s farewell game. i really just hope he doesnt play it this off season, if during next season, im already there.

but yah i can see the greatest stars in history. Albertini’s Addio @ the San Siro was perfect, they should do that with some adjustments to Paolo’s.

on the two penalties from yesterday

    ——-

I for one cannot complain about either of the penalties. Were they fouls? Yes. Did Kaka go down maybe a little to easy? Yes.

But, how many years have defenders been hacking down at Kaka’s legs? So much so that he has wasted a good part of two seasons because of over-ambitious tackles on Kaka. I for one will be happy if defenders start thinking that Kaka is going to go down easy so they are going to be a little more weary about going into a strong and unfair tackle against him in the future.

We have been asking for protection for him for over 5 years. They havent done shit. This is our way of mitigating over eager tackles from hack defenders who want to make their name by breaking his knees.

avia he most definitely still can. But defenders have been wrecking his legs and its almost like asking him to perform the ballet while some one takes a wrecking ball to his knees.

i dont say it much, but i hate when we score from penalties. i dont care if its the 3pts, well unless against Inter. and yesterday Ambro should have told the ref it wasnt a penalty, barely a very soft foul and Ambro was the one who jumped. maybe foul at most!

second one, avia said it best. “i can remember when Kaka could get past defenders!”. though still a penalty, but yah no excuse for Kaka.

i never ever ever hope to get a penalty. if it was up to me id change the whole penalty rule. penalties should be given only when the ball is 90% going in. i honestly put my head down when i see Milan going from the sides and getting the penalty at the edge of the penalty box from a poor pass that either touches a hand or gets lost and out of nowhere a penalty comes out, especially when its 100% valid. and it happened quite a few times this season. its not a way to score, its a way to compensate you and punish the other team. i hope this stops. Kaka got 7 goals out of 14 goals from penalties!!!

nice one fet, true, Ambro shoulda ‘fessed up!

Im sure he looked surprised when he turned and saw the ref pointing to the spot

K – i just wanted to keep things in context, peeps who have watched Kaka since he broke into the squad know what to expect from Jesus Boy and for someone who set out his stall at the start of the season to win the Ballon D’Or this year well……….Get up off your ass!

PS; Have we forgotten PIRLO!? the man is def back and was back to his epic-self yesterday imo! One of the many highlights from yesterday, loved some of the tackles he made to win the ball back (the only reason ShitDorf got off lightly yesterday!)

Bad points?; Oh yeah, Becks constantly hoofing the ball up the park, very elegant! wtf man!

Take your time Fet,and thanks a lot.
Same here. Dont like penalty goals. In Italy any penalty given raises a lot of suspicion,of diving and cheating.
