continuing from the last page, Boriello will not bang in goals like he did last year unless he gets more playing time..

And yes, Dinho in the last 15 was a joy to watch. It almost reminded me of his Barca years.(err, the good ones) Hopefully, he can keep it up

lets just give borriello time and hope he stays injury free for the rest of the season by then, hopefully he’ll come around, and any update on pato’s injury he played great last night got a goal superbly robbed from him by amelia, and won the first penalty the dinho missed but was only on the pitch for 29 minutes!! here’s hoping its not serious because with borri already out we are gonna need him and no i can’t rely on sheva and goal poaching inzaghi and for the lords sake give vuidez and cardaccio some playing time, coppa italia tie anyone?

I posted this already in the match thread…but I thought i’d post it again here.

Pirlo should NOT be starting. Seedorf is not that good anymore. The entire team is slow and look disinterested. Our defence is getting out worked, out hustled and just plain not good enough to get the job done with any consistancy.

Offensively we move at a snails pace when building up plays. There are no decisive runs, cuts, or moves to get open or to receive a pass. When the last time we’ve seen a goal from a built up play by the mid-field? Or a one two give and go. We’re super slow, and the fact we are using the Christmas tree doesn’t help.

Ancelotti is an intelligent man but he is a reeeeeeeealy sloooooooow learner and a veeeeeeery stubborn man. He’s horrible at motivating, and preparing his teams to play hard, with motivation, purpose and a sense of urgency for 90 minutes+.

Totally new players (World Class Ones with pace) are needed right now to replace Maldini, Seedorf, Pirlo, Flavali, Emerson. I know some of these players are near and dear to us, but IMO they’ve shown that they can’t CONSISTANTLY get the job done on the field any longer. An arguement can be made that they are a liability on the pitch.

Boriello is new so i’ll give him some time, but a WORLD CLASS STRIKER is needed badly. (one with pace)

A CB is needed just as bad and a younger midfielder who can pass and love to run.

After we have these players we need to change the freakin formation to an ATTACKING one with MORE THAN STRIKER.

I don’t understand how he can keep trying that formation after getting no real results from it.

IMO we will continue to see play of this quality & many more results like this until, personnel and/or formation changes are made.

I think we were missing the heart that ambro or rino usually provide in the midfield. Obviously this is no excuse for a 3-1 loss.

I agree BigDawg, we need a world class striker. WHen you play a truly world class team, there is an attacker that scares a defense like a torres or messi or C-Ron maybe even a Toni. Kaka was previously this player. But because of tactics, or form or injury or whatever this is not the case anymore. Dinho has played well but i dont think he can be the main man. The good news is January is a few short weeks away.

@ fg – The bad news is Galiani is in charge of the transfer window in January. Don’t expect much.

If we acquired anything that is WC in January…it would surprise the heck outta me. I don’t see it happening.

Um, isnt Beckham your “big” winter signing? Galliani has been all over the press saying that the winter mercato is to fix things that are broken and Milan doesn’t need fixing.

oh johanna yes we do!! we need a new and fresh defence with some reliable young legs and we must get at least two wingers i’d nominate joaquin from valencia as one.

Even though it was a bad loss, I think Shev showed a lot of pace and hunger, I would definetly start him next game alonside Pato. Maldini and Pirlo were terrible and were the main reasons for the loss.

Samuel, love the comment. i agree we need to giv viudez and cardaccio some playing time. was the point of buying players and not using them. plus viudez is a hot prospect and fast so we could do very much with him.
