    from the official site,

“The news spread by Sky Sport 24, according to which Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti had been kept in his job by Leonardo against the opinion of Adriano Galliani and Ariedo Braida, is completely untrue.”

believe me thats not our biggest concern at the moment. just get the hell back on track and end this season with 2 losses, thats the solution that will make us happy.

i know everyone has been making the scudetto the primary concern, but the game against zurich is huge in my opinion, not just for ancelotti but for the players too. They need to prove that the losses to two middle of the table italian teams (thats being generous), and the friendly loss to a second league swiss team and the inconsistency of the preseason friendlys are perhaps flukes. One UEFA cup game cant erase all of that, but they need to prove to the fans that this team that was talked up in the transfer season is legitimate.

Just sack ancelotti, I don’t have any idea how Leonardo, Braida, Galliani or anyone else could be of the opinion carlo shouldn’t get the boot.

Agree with fg. They need to rest Pirlo so I want to see:

Abbiati; Antonini, Kaladze, Senderos, Jankulovski; Flamini, Seedorf, Ambrosini; Kaka; Pato, Borriello

Last time he listened to me. Hope he sees this site again before the match. :P

If you’re reading this, Mr. Carlo Ancelotti, I’m begging you not to play Favalli again. Please!! It’s painful watching him.

I’ll be at the Milan-Lazio match this weekend - should I hope for a better performance to entertain me than that which was on offer against Genoa!?

Well, I guess Pirlo will get rest now that he’s injured.

And Fadayn, don’t even hope to be “entertained”… just hope for a win, even if it’s the ugliest, scrappiest win you ever see, just hope for it.

Sorry to hear about the Pirlo injury. I hope he gets well really soon. He might get a rest while recuperating and come back stronger.. At least I hope he will.

Believe it or not, I hate seeing Milan struggling like this. Hope both our teams pick it up.

Bonnie and ursus.. you stole my thunder.. Bonnie took the optimistic spin i was going for with the rest.. and ursus completely canceled the “get well soon” part of my comment.

Thank you both very much! haha.. :p

this could be a blessing in disguise. I agree the injuries to pirlo and rino will give them time to rest at least. Both of them have had an insane schedule since WC 2006. even nesta to an extent might benefit, if his injury isnt as serious as some reports suggest.
i really want an offensive explosion on thursday. I want to see kaka find the back of the net. Lets put up at least 2 goals and shut zurich out

Bonnie, I agree with you on two fronts, he will rest which is needed. Two, a win is a win, I would rather be bored to death and take one nil win then sweat out a 4-3 shootout.

On a side note, Pirlo’s injury may force us/Carletto away from the xmas tree for once…

i know a win is a win, but we went out and got boriello, sheva, and dinho. we should be able to score against almost any team in the UEFA cup

My fear is that this injury affects him in a way that he won’t be the old Pirlo we depended on so much and it shouldn’t take an injury for him to get some rest! As a player approaches 30, injuries could become chronic. Any news about Nesta?
Bashar, thanks for the good wishes.

yah the injury could be a blessing in disguise. its just a a torn muscle thigh, hopefully nothing permanent or dangerous. time for him to rest, finally. we’ll probably use Emerson, i say lets try Antonini, but Carletto will make the right choice and pick who every is ready for that role. and even better if we play with 2 strikers from the beginning. Abbiaiti (Dida might play the Zurich game). Maldini Senderos(Kala), Zambro, Janko; Flamini, Ambro; Kaka, Dinho; Borriello, Sheva(Pato). doesnt sound that practical, but we need not only to attack but to mix it up in the attack and confuse the opponent. not like last season and this season so far where every team succeeded in predicting our game and stopped us.

we need to be unpredictable, christmas tree ruins it.
