Maldini Monday

By: Gianfranco | June 30th, 2008

TANTI AUGURI PAOLO!! 40!

It is not the age but the form of the player that matters most, and 40 year old Maldini is still better than a fair amount of 20 year old defenders. World’s Greatest.

My favorite video ever, I hope Il Capitano listens to it everyday because it is so true!

I really do not believe Pato will be a 100% starter this year so Adebayor would be the lone striker. Pato had a great year but has much to learn and Carletto will hold him and use him in the proper situatuions much like he did with Kaka early on. At least thats what I believe.

That video showed his magic. he might be a tad overweight at the moment but he can lose it in no time. forget Copperfield, David Blaine…Dinho is the world’s new magician. look at the touches and passes he made, yes it was a friendly game but he also did those same passes with Barcelona. i cant wait to see the ball dance around between him, Kaka & Pato, pure magic.

That video shows his bullshit. First, he’s fat. Second, he’s doing fancy tricks. Yipdeedoo, it wasn’t a friendly, it was a charity match where they are encouraged to do that stuff. 7-7 scoreline? C’mon. If I was a Milanista, I would NOT want him on the team. Seedorf+Kaka are just as good, and they aren’t, well, a whiny bitchy Brazilian.

The video of R10 at a charity match does absolutely nothing in convincing me. Its like watching a video of me schooling ten year olds!

As for Ronaldo he is also bitching that Milan has mistreated him during his injury crisis. The guy is a lost cause and whiner, and Milan could have easily terminated his contract and said see you later. Instead he says he was mistreated, wow, I dont like him, and the fact that R10 might end up the same whiny guy, like Rivaldo before them, makes me want to steer clear even more.

You bring back Donati who can play Seedorf’s role, and you workout a deal for Veloso to slot in for Pirlo.

    Thanks Jo.

My point isnt to take anything away from Dino.

Doesnt matter what team you support, if you love football you have to love Dino.

He scored one of my fave goals in the CL against Chelsea:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFe0AscXQJI&feature=related

But at the same time it cant be argued that he is where he used to be. If u cant sort yourself out whilst at Barca, playing in front of almost 100,000, why should joining the Rossoneri make a difference??

Carlo cant sort out Dino, did everyone miss how well Carlo “developed” Gourcuff?? If Dino needs sorting out, send him to the merda, I hear they have a Portuguese fella good at man management.

Also, does Milan really NEED Dino??

Imo we are beggin for new blood in defense and that should be our priority. Sure he might add abit of glitz to Milans summer transfers but don’t take your eyes off of the dark side of town ala the merda.

We really cant afford to be complacent, even more so, now that Mourinho is in town.

Dinos signing would be a way for Galliani to sit back fold his arms and say ”We’ve bought one of the best” and then watch in horror with the rest of us when we crash out again.

“Class is permanent” I hear you buzz but if he was so serious about recapturing said class, explain his recent weight gain??

You would have thought that for a guy who wants to attract possible suitors he would be looking solid but alas no, we find him the exact opposite to the point where even the Brazilian press is taking the piss out of him, and they love him!

Another factor to bear in mind is, is his signing worth unsettling the likes of Seedorf? Yes, he has his hissy fits, but he is integral to the current squad and has been kinda vocal about signing Dino and I’d rather keep a hold of Seedorf.

If anyone looked up the pic Fet posted recently showing how Carletto planned to fit Dino into the squad it was virtually a 4-3-3 with Dino out on the left wing, but wait a minute! that’s the same formation he has been played in at Barca, and we all know how well that ended past season.

    http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q87/milanista3/Milan/gazzetta.jpg

I know there are BIG fans of Dino among the Milanista, Im one! But he isn’t what we need right now, don’t let your love for the guy blind you of this fact.

We need another defender, the mid is sorted, maybe Adebayor or even Drogba to go up front but I have to say no to “The Gaucho”, not unless we get him at a bargain price and he is used to fill in for Kaka whenever he needs a break.

Vote No! U kno it makes sense! ;-)

if galliani continues his mischief with transfers like this, 2 years later milan will be a uefa cup team at best n emerson will be leading the light in midfield with ronaldo n ronaldinho working their magic ala galliani up front n their main transfer targets will be likes of anelka, puyol n lehmann wid mancini the coach. AND galliani still braggin “football fans have real short memory we won the CL 4 years ago and we r the 2nd most successful team in europe n we qualify for uefa.” fuck off galliani. i think hes a intermilan fan.

OHMYGOD NO. Inter need another fat Ronaldo (little or otherwise) like a hole in the head. He is all yours!

We have enough dead wood of our own, thank you very much, without taking him on.

By the way, can I interest you in a racy Honduran? Low mileage, only driven once a week on Sundays, and not even every Sunday at that. Cheap! only 7-ish mil euros. We also have an older French model – fixer-upper.

MAD – the Mourinho comment wasnt a dig, I genuinely worry that some of the players Inter fans arent fond of may get a new lease of life once he kicks off working with them.

Mourinho has the knack of making his players run through brick walls for him.

I would welcome Dino IF we had Mourinho running things!
