I love it, Milan gave such a lowball offer it has renewed my faith in the shrewdness of management. We must still wait though as it is early…

my internet decided to die the weekend I leavefor Europe, posting from an I-phone. Saw the match, crazy happy. More happy about Galliani saying Gattuso is going nowhere, exactly what I wanted to hear.
I liked Pirlo captaining choice, I think it will encourage him to be more vocal.
I will be posting from Spain next!Posted from

Thank god, I just saw the news about Dinho. I’ve been going over the idea of having him and it just seems stupid. Why not spend money elsewhere.
Did anyone see Pato yesterday? An absolutely wonderful header along with his near goal/assist to Pippo? Absolutely splendid. All of my friends say that all of his goals are just him being in the right place at the right time. I sent each one of them a clip of the two plays, and none of them have replied. Pato is silencing the critics…Posted from

Sorry about the Pato rant, should have gone to the reggina thread.

C’mon guys! Tell your management to STEP UP! Spend that huge amount of money for Dinho - Please. If you guys get him, Inter wont be saddled with him.

Lucky you bonnie, all my plans went down hill. god damn credit cardS are the devil. have fun there.
Alessio, from AC Milan official site on April 18th.
“A.C. Milan communicates that the footballer Paolo Maldini has subjected to an exam today which evidenced a lesion lo his left thigh. Next monday Maldini, who is doing physiotherapy work in the meantime, will be subjected to another exam to establish the times of recovery.”Frey & Mexes denied any rumors linking them to Milan.
Good Ringhio news,
“the Via Turati club have received confirmation that Gennaro Gattuso is not looking for a summer exit.
The midfielder’s agent has announced that the Italian international would like to extend his stay at San Siro, despite rumoured interest from Manchester United.”
gonna be a long rough ride in the summer transfer market.

These days you have to have strong squads not just a strong first eleven. Milan should be going for Dinho’s as Seedorf is declining and to release some pressure on the likes of Kaka and Pato next season.
They should also bolster the other areas of the squad too. It’s no accident that Inter has been running away with scudetti in the last few seasons. They have a huge second team waiting on the bench. Even European rivals such as Man Utd have strong international players coming off the bench.
Who have Milan got? Mostly a bunch of has beens. All Inzaghi does is stay on the shoulder of the last man. If the team plays well something might fall for him. But apart from that he doesn’t contribute anything.

can anybody give me one fucking legitimate reason not to get ronaldinho??
please, just one logical reason. just one good reason that is not flawed is all i ask for.
please, if i die tomorrow at least i can die honorably knowing why beloved milan should not have gotten the little fucking ronaldo.
one reason, please…

I think Galliani said “this is going to be a lengthy negotiation” instead of “milan reject and refuse to negotiate further”, I think if we can get Dinho at good price, then why not, but if his rate is too high then we can always other players, like Rosina… ?

Well, A, I would give you a reason, but I am an Inter fan, and as and Inter fan, I would LOVE for Milan to be stuck …er… buy Ronaldinho! Go for it.
I mean really, what a deal! Not only is he aging and injury prone, but has spent most of this season on the bench (21 total starts this season). The best part, though, he will probably cost a butt-load of money.
And the kicker: Barca really seem to want to unload him. That makes me curious.
I mean, how much did Milan pay for Ronaldo last year?
Please, buy Ronaldinho and make me eat my words next season.

Ooops, sorry A, I was responding to Sheehan.
And double oops, I wasnt supposed to give you a reason.
d’oh!

Barcelona is in disarray. Their reasons for offloading Ronaldinho should not concern potential suitors.
Instead concentrate on the facts. You have the most gifted player of his generation who has been the most marked man since Maradona for the past 3 or 4 seasons, at the peak age of 28, who needs a new challange, was worth over $100m 18 months ago and you can get him now for around $30m probably plus Zambrotta.
Only numbskulls would let the opportunity pass.

Even if he does nothing else he occupies two opposition players with defensive duties. How many players can you say that about?

People who diss Dinho for his form should try playing with their backs to goal as they receive the ball with a guy hacking the back of your ankles and another closing in from the front, minute by minute, match by match.

Gian, I love Maldini Monday,
and I was thinking why not make one for Kaka for his birthday, Kaka tuesday?Better yet, may be a special post for every birthday of every member of the squad, I think that’ll be great.
A bit of history or may be just Bio or random facts about them.
Just an idea though…

Malih that actually is a really good idea, I will see what I can do. You guys have to remind me of the birthdays though.

I woke up this morning thanking the gods of the football pitch (seeing how I don’t believe in any others) for three things: 1) all is not gung-ho in the land of Acquiring Brazillian Has-Beens; 2) Rino is not leaving, so all the papers can shove it; 3) we actually won, for once, and I only had one or two (or four) moments of covering my head with my Maldini jersey from stress during the match. Much better than most of the season, where I have spent entire games with my head under my Maldini jersey. Some things become too painful to watch.
