Gourcuff scored an amazing goal for France. He is really playing well. Its good to see that he hasnt turned out to be a flop, and even better that he is Milan owned. My greatest desire is too see him lay for Milan next year(I dont care which player, except Kaka, gets kicked out to make place for him.)

Yeah, he’s been one of the best performers for Bordeaux this year…but like Gilardino, I don’t really see him ever succeeding at Milan, Ranjeet. Sorry.

Cristian and Moka, something this beautiful is supposed to be obsessed about. Milan is like Ferrari, Monica Belluci, Pavarotti’s voice and Tiramisu` all wrapped in to one haha. Have i missed out on anything?

Moka I just spent my Saturday hunting down all the milan players on loan/co-owned I think that classifies as a little obsessed to don’t you think? I still have yet to find a few that seem to have just disappeared off of everyone’s radar. It’s frustrating me that I can’t find them. I’m crazy I know you guys don’t need to confirm that. I figure if Milan isn’t going to pay attention to the young ones someone has to.

Btw anyone know what happened to the prima keeper Offredi and the Deffender Albertazzi? It would be a great help to me and my list :P lol thanks

Gila was unlucky, and lacked confidence last year. That’s a simple formula to explain why he failed last year. All that matters now is he’s at a better place now.

Gourcuff is a different story. He rarely played, and when he came on, it was for 15 seconds, maybe 30 seconds if he was lucky. The problem is, we have too many attacking midfielders, I don’t think he’ll get the playing time he deserves when he comes back.

Moka, when brought back Goucuff can play in every role that Seedorf has played. Seedorf will have to be thanked and sent on his way, if Clarence wants to play to 40 that’s fine but he needs to do so off the bench, or possibly outside of Milan. It is the harsh reality of football, and Seedorf remaing in the squad shoud not harm the development of Gourcuff, Vuidez, and Abate when all fight for a place in the first team .

If Gourcuff keeps his form, and can play as a midfielder alongside Pirlo (not as an attacking midfielder), then it’s a no-brainer that he should be a starter next year.

Today Milan are being linked with Moutinho?!.. We’ve got Cardaccio/Viduez (I always forget who the midfielder is), and Gourcuff if he can play as a midfielder.

More Mexes rumors. I can actually picture Mexes in a Milan shirt. He’s 26 and I really think Milan should splash the cash asap on him.

And speaking of the transfer market, PLEASE PLEASE get rid of Favalli and Emerson ASAP!

Mexes would be an intelligent move and he only has room to grow at Milan. Cardaccio is ihe mid, but Viudez is like Pato who can play striker but can also step back a line as well.

Theres also been the story about Milan siging Gullit as a European talent scout?

    http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/news.html

If Cuffy is worthy then it only makes sense that he begins to push Seedorf outa his starting spot.

As for Pato, im beginin to think he should be more used as a Theo Walcott type of player in that he shouldnt be our out & out striker but deployed where he can open up a defence for a point man.

Its always good to see his little dashes and where he gets pass a couple of players in near impossible runs, Carlo needs to exploit this skill FAR BETTER.

Avia, I agree on Pato, but as he matures he may become a better striker but as of now his talents beg for him to run at the defense. If Milan employed Dinho Kaka Pato all behind Borriello they may have created the single greatest attacking group in Serie A, maybe even Europe.

Thanks Avia, I was telling my dad about what he said and he said that he only played that year with Carletto but I guess he played 4 years at Parma with him too. That’s why I was asking because how could he have such a good rapport with him only after a year.

Gian we can only dream…but something tells me that the Milan gang are a little to dense to realize the possibilities.

What makes me mad about the Pato situation is that when he was with Brazil for the olympics and he wasn’t “producing” goals Dunga blasted him now that he’s playing good he’s good enough to call up? I hate coaches like that!

    How about a 4 2 3 1.
    midfield looks like:
    Flamini/Gattuso Pirlo/Ambro
    Gourcuff/Seedorf Kaka Ronaldinho/Pato
    Sheva/Boriello

That works for me Ranjeet.. :D

What doesn’t work is : Pirlo, Seedorf, Kaka, Dinho, Pato, Borriello.. for example.. lol

It’s all about balance. 5 defensive players + 5 offensive players. That’s why you need to have one of Ambrosini, Flamini, Gattuso at all times in my opinion.

That leaves us with 5 players, who can support the attack. Pirlo/Seedorf in a deep creative role + 3 attacking midfielders + 1 striker works.

I bet Gourcuff when/if he comes back doesn’t play like he’s playing in the French League or for the national team for Milan.

Ancelotti is forcing him to play his tactics instead of finding a formation that suits the kid.

Ancelotti needs players that fit his formation & will probably kill the talent of players that don’t fit his system.

Gourcuff is amazing…and was sitting on the bench while Brocchi was coming off the bench just about every game last year.

I’m sacred for Pato. And of we see the Uruguayans this year at all…I’ll be even more surprised. We should have been up on Cagliari 2 or 3 zip in the first half to give those kids a run in the 65th or 70th minute of the second half.

But when we can’t even score against those teams, these kids can’t get into the game. That’s what happened to Gourcuff last year.
