Saturday Evening Hangover, The Drinks Just Keep on Comin

By: Gianfranco | January 19th, 2008

UEFA names top eleven and three Rossoneri make the top 11 with one oddly MIA. You read that folks, NO OLD LADIES, NO INTERISTAS (for the moment I a can not consider Zlatan an Interista, he is not Argie so he will be withheld), AND NO ROMAN PRETTY BOYS. Just plain old fashion Champions of Europe. The men of the hour are the one and only man in the back Nesta, the smooth operating Clarence Seedorf, and World Player of the Year Ricky Kaka (who I have a love hate relationship at the moment as many of you know). Missing of the list in favor of Steven F’ING Gerrard is Andrea Pirlo the finest of the midfielders in most of Europe, again no love for the man that is the lynchpin of not one but two World Championship teams, does anyone think he is just getting shafted? (FOR GOD”S SAKE HE CAN FLY).

Flying Pirlo

Bask in the glory boys, you have earned it.

Very special Maldini Monday this time around as Il Capitano is celebrating his 23rd anniversary, I would say that is a close to celebrating your 100th birthday in terms of athletic careers as you can get. The game against Udinese will mark his 23rd year and boy oh boy how good has it been. I will let Maldini Monday’s do the honors on that front.

Pato will try and cash in on his new found success or beginners luck against Toto and Fab Quags. The defense will have their work cut out for them, but hey if you score five who needs defense. It is tough to tell which way this game will sway but if Milan even want to see the left side of the Serie A table they are going to need victory.

the uefa team is a joke, especially when the top scorer in europe isnt in the team, totti, and no pirlo is just stupid. oh, and kaka is horrible in the league, he just seems to turn up for the champions league, and idiots everywhere shout “best player in the world”

martha, you didn’t know? Zlatan decided that he’d switch over to the cooler side of milan =] (ohh, my dreams, my dreams…)

um yeah. not having Sleepy is pretty darn lame, the man is brilliant (and adorable.) brad… kaka’, horrible in the league? um…what? inconsistent at times, perhaps. watch his goal against napoli from last week. the turn, the shot..beauty.

Color me depressed that Il Capitano caught the flu and isn’t playing. Good luck to the team tomorrow regardless, hoping to keep the momentum from last week going.

Well this team is based on votes made by the fans, so there are really no solid ground for it. the one decided by UEFA, best defender: Maldini, best midfielder: Seedorf, Best Attacker: Kaka, Best Player: Kaka. :)

As for the Udine-Milan game, so sad il capitano couldnt play, his 23rd and last anniversary against the same team he debuted against 23 years ago. As for the game so far, i missed about 10-15 minutes in the middle, but nothing special. I believe Milan need to use Seedorf more, and i think we can feel the huge absent of Pirlo. Pato & Ronaldo, nothing “spectacular” so far.

we must win this, Forza Milan!

    GILARDINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ALL IT TAKES IS ONE MOMENT OF MAGIC FROM KAKA’ HIMSELF.

that backheel, the same term that ancelotti used to describe ronaldo’s new hairdo; sublime…

and the finish by gilardino, with all that pressure on him, he stand to live another day. zapata closing him down, he holds him off; and WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAAM.

    FORZA MILAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen: This is how we play without one magical Andrea Pirlo.

That being said, I let out a huge sigh when we scored. Was getting very worried. Pato + Kaka (sexy backheel) + Gila= GOAL. Very good work by the three of them. Happy to see Gila smiling. Seedorf had a good game as well.

I haven’t seen much of Udinese this season, but I have to say, I am impressed, I see why they’re fourth (not for long…) I couldn’t wrap my head around how fast they were, especially on the counter attack. They were certainly giving our defense plenty of issues.

But we won, I can breathe. Forza Milan!

Guys the goal was scored on a huge mistake by the Udine defender on the lack of clear, Udinese deserved a draw, but good teams pull those games out!

GILA MANIA!! what a beautiful play by Pa-Ka-Gi

funny how things can change quickly, i was so pissed and mad, but after the goal i was on top of the world, it made my day :D

we do need Pirlo badly. we must capitalize and win all 3 delayed games, starting with Atalanta on Wed.

loved the Rino-Careltto moment after the goal lol

and Bwin are screwing me over, i bet on milan and they won but they say they lost!!!

    Ringhio & Carletto moment :)

    http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=ktQqgycKuxQ

    lmafoooo @ Carletto’s comment on Ronaldo’s cornrow,

“It was a surprise he turned up like that,” smiled Ancelotti. “It’s an interesting look. Having said that, if he were my son and had that haircut, he wouldn’t be allowed to sit at the dinner table.”

So go ahead and keep talking bad about our players. Maybe they’ll keep scoring to shut everyone up!

honestly, Gila may be good with Pato. but still doesnt not convince me that much, we need the best of the best, not just good. Milan must do whatever WHATEVER it takes to get Benzema.
