Siena 1- AC MILAN 1

By: Gianfranco | September 16th, 2007

I have yet to see the game due to a wedding yesterday, but after reading some of the game summaries it is probably a good thing. Carletto’s formation, below, was a bit better than expected, and it did feature Gourcuff, but apparently things did not go as well as planned. A Dida/Kaladze gaffer led to a Siena lead, making me wonder if Dida is returning to his former shell shocked self. The only saving grace was a Nesta goal that led to a draw and one point.

Milan: Dida; Cafu, Nesta, Kaladze, Favalli (Jankulovski 61); Gattuso (Inzaghi 46), Emerson (Ambrosini 65), Brocchi; Gourcuff, Seedorf; Gilardino

I have said this in the past, but Milan need better results against the Siena’a Seria A so that you can afford a tie hear or there against the big boys. A tie with Siena and a loss against a squad like Juve threatens your scudetto chances mightily.

Tuesday kicks of the Champions League season for Milan. They will meet former teamate Rui Costa at home against Benfica, stay tuned for a match preview.

like i was saying, Dida dumb, Kaladze Dumber. Gila enough is enough. Carletto never rest 3 key players.

If enough is enough for Gila then Ronaldo really needs to get his ass in gear, and get back on the pitch.

although gilardino’s getting lots of flak, i dont think most of it is justified.

its all about the service, and gilardino isnt getting enough service. seedorf and gourcuff did alright, but not enough.

expectedly, our fullback lineup of cafu and favagolinho wasnt as blistering as carlo wanted; and bucci was tearing up favalli on the flanks.

but still, new day new competition, the boys better step up.

we dont even know who to point the finger at regarding the Ronaldo issue. mainly the Milan Lab, wrong treatment. also we can add the transfer guru in the blame list, Pato isnt enough.

    sigh, dark clouds AGAIN.

to be fair, gila’s service sucked at times, but he still had some good opportunities and didn’t put them away. It is too late for excuses though. you play 90 minutes versus siena as the main striker, you should put one away out of the opportunities you get. if you can’t do that, then milan isn’t the right place for you, which as much as it pains me to say it, it is becoming more and more obvious by the day that with respect to the union between gila and milan, I think annulment is the best option.
