Milan 1- Catania 1

ITS TIME

First things first, that little button should be pressed furiously right now. Yes Kaladze’s handball was a handball, was it intentional? No, could he have avoided it? Again probably not, but if you had to say Milan was cursed right now I would probably have to agree with you. The unluckiness in the last 180 minutes of calcio has been obscene. THREE CROSS BARS IN TWO GAMES!!!

But if you play well luck is not a factor and the first forty minutes were absymal. Seedorf was the only one playing in the first half, but he could not manage a single attack on net with the rest of the offense. The passes were not existent and Catania had free reign on the flanks. Kalac, Bonera, and Favalli did not have a great start and with that the game sort of slipped.

The second half was a different story as Carletto switched to two strikers. I personally like this lineup much better with Kaka behind two strikers and Seedorf wide left, it just makes more sense and at least poses more of a scoring threat. The problem is that there are no more strikers on the bench. Pippo and Gila have absolutely no cohesion and leads me to ask where is Wily Aubameyang? It is time to get some basic ball movement around the box and some shots on goal, it seems like they are trying to do to much in the box. The movement was good but as the theme has been all year, the finishing has not.

Celtic comes up on Wednesday and I hope that Carletto goes with the lineup from the last minute today with Janks in place of Favalli. That may be the only chance against a strong Celtic team. Don’t be surprised if ex Rossoneri Donati gets really riled up for this one. With five goals in three games it makes me wish he was still plying his trade at the San Siro.

6 games, 7 points…it is going to be a long season.

please take shevchenko back, his career is being ruined in a league where players dont even know how to pass the ball properly. English football is so chaotic and scrappy. He should have stayed at Milan, or gone to la liga.

firstly, what you two just said has nothing to do with anything.
Secondly, la liga is for babies, it’s almost as bad as MLS.
Third, the English game is great, it’s just Chelsea that can’t pass.

Now, I have strong doubts in Milan’s ability to beat or ever tie Celtic… This is really, really bad. Also, Seedorf doesn’t play as well on the wings, he seems to like the middle more. Hopefully Ronaldo will be fit to play soon to help out in the striking department…

I’m really worried now, not just about the Scudetto, but about Europe as well…

Oh my fricken goodness!! you did it again milan…..
now its just rediculus. how can you draw 4 out of 6 games, milan really nead to try out some new tacktics because (no offence to carletto) but the last few matches have been sloppy. What ever happened to the great Milan defence that was so unbeatable. We NEED a change and many more wins other wise it looks like its all over…

I can only pray that ronaldo will get better to help out the much needing striking department. And dont forget moral, if milan are contantly drawing and losing.. then there poor moral will be to low to win in the champions league..

Oh milan what is happening to you….

The panic mode for me was when there was no transfers besides emerson but i was expecting this. Any one else agree there is no point of putting gila out there he has to go his time is up HE SUCKS!!! Hopefully these results will force galliani to make some moves like Drogba or Even Bringing Back Sheva. At this point. Wednesday Will be a draw Has it written all over it.

Ivan, I agree. bringing back shevchenko is a good idea. hes not doing well in england cause its a chaotic and scrappy game there and no one knows how to pass they just crash the net.

I think milan really nead to start inviesting in young guns, i mean sure weve got gourcuff but thats it…
Look at real madrid and arsenal, they have invested into much younger teams and its working for them.

Milan are simply too old. And if we dont change soon it will be all over befor we know it..
