I still can’t believe it, what a game. Goes to show you could never doubt the heart of a champion. Of the starters 7 have won the World Cup and 9 have won the CL at least once. Even if they’re old they still kicked ass. Hey FLo Perez, how about that vision you had of the new era of Galacticos. Huh, you’re blind as a bat.

i can’t stop watching this game. i am actually watching it again as i write this post. as others have written, i was just glad to see this squad play with heart and determination. this game of european giants was a classic.

dida looked shaky, maybe that is an understatement. but he also made some good saves. nesta and thiago are a great pair. zambrotta and oddo are the best we have, so they will have to do for now. ambrosini played his heart out, and played like a captain. pirlo gave our squad confidence with an amazing goal that surprised the entire world, probably even himself. after pirlo’s goal milan played with much more confidence…the true ac milan way. seedorf was servicable. dinho continued to struggle, it saddens me that he no longer has the pace that made him a great player – the greatest in the world at one time. pippo is a reserve, nothing more. borriello is OK. pato is amazing and we must do whatever it takes to build our squad around him for seasons to come.

and much props to nesta and even dinho for sticking up for our squad after a horrible decision from the referee. raul thought he was the tough guy until nesta/dinho put him in his place. nice, rino gatusso must have been proud.

its been a tough campaign so far, so i am choosing to enjoy this victory and hopefully it begins a new, successful chapter at ac milan.

    forza milan!

Joey, Dinho hit Raul out of nowhere like a girl. Reminds me of River vs Boca derby some couple of years back when Marcelo Gallardo almost took eyes out from the Boca keeper. Abohanizeri (something like that). Like a cat fight. Nothing to be proud of.

Excellent feeling after the game, even though my daughter learned quite a few inappropriate words.
“Kids, lets return on the words you can’t say in school, repeat after me…”

About Ronaldinho: aside his juggling skills and few back heels he played a magnet to Real defenders, thus letting spaces open. It was sad to see a player of THAT caliber being eaten alive by L’ASS time and time again.

Everybody else get a 10. And Dida atoned himself according to commentators. I still blame him for improving my daughter’s vocabulary.

My last thought: You do guys realize that Zambrotta is playing out of position, right? I don’t know why it eluded me, but he is RB playing on the left, so little leniency and understanding.

Pirlo states that he’s been advised by his team mates to shoot at goal more often and that now he will. For whatever that is worth i’d like to see that happen.

I dunno, I’m in no shape or form a Dinho fanboy but I’m actually happy to see what he’s trying now. Not what he’s doing, but what he’s trying to do. If you remember last season, he wouldn’t even think of taking on defenders. This season, it seems like he’s trying to a lot more. Even if it isn’t always coming together, the fact that he’s gaining confidence is promising. I have to believe that if he keeps trying, eventually it’ll click. Confidence is a bitch and can destroy your game no matter how much God given talent you have.

    Cheers

I just wish Galliani don’t get all too cocky about the win, he should stay below the radar until after the second transfer window or perhaps the final third of the season.

@Chubby: Zambrotta has been playing left and right side for his whole career, he’s capable of playing either side.

“Take the game between Real Madrid and Milan on Wednesday. On paper this shouldn’t have happened, but Milan change face in Europe.

“Did you see Ronaldinho? He seemed like the player who won the Ballon d’Or and made everyone fall in love with him.

“Pato seemed like a copy of the young Ronaldo. But every one of the Rossoneri changed their attitude in the Champions League. There is something magical about it,” Tardelli concluded.”

people. game is on sunday. God I really hope the team isn’t being like how we are right now.

We need to snap out of it, and get ready for Chievo or we will arrive in the stadium still giddy from this victory only to suffer another humiliating defeat to put us back in the plunge.

Our sponsor is bwin. Just because the host,Madrid, has the same one,so just for that night only it was written win.com
But actually I agree maybe it brings us luck =p

Anyway, gotta throw away all the euforia and look ahead the next match.

    Footballitaliano has something..http://www.footballitaliano.co.uk/article.aspx?id=699
“….Il Diavolo will have two winnable away tests against Chievo and Napoli but the odds are on Milan either grinding out results or stuttering to lose some valuable points in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Those who believe that beating Real Madrid is a turning point are mistaken and only need to look back at the Bianconeri’s season after defeating Madrid twice last season. The Old Lady was able to string a number of positive results following the victory in Madrid before stuttering to barely make second place in the league..”
