can we make another non-EU signing this year? we signed sheva in the summer window… so not sure whether the non-EU rule would apply to the whole season or on a transfer window basis… any thoughts?

If push comes to shove, Jankulovski can play in the middle. Flamini is good enough reserve full-back, if needed.

Ambro is a built like a defender and his aerial prowess is very good, but his lack of real speed may hurt us, then again compared to other options, it isnt so bad. I would rather seem Ambro slot in there than Flamini, but come January a CB is now an absolute must…

ambro could be a better defender than flamini since he has a better bulid and he is excellent in the air. flamini has a lot of attacking attributes which we might miss if he defends

Flamini has said explicity that he doesnt want to play defense, and in fact elluded that he would rather not play, but it may be media hogwash. Bottom line is in times of need all hands deck!
