Gianfranco, the Van Basten vid brought back some truly sad memories, the fact that even the Iceman – Fabio cried showed and perfectly encapsulated what Van Bastens retirement meant to alot of people.

I held out for sooo long on the chance that he may come back, even 3/4 yrs after he left there were still rumors surfacing that he was planning on making a comeback (probably originated by goal.com!)

do agree with bonnie – will miss him and i think he put on a good display against palermo – hope we dont end up losing him and not signing anyone else since we ‘already have a world class strike force of inzaghi, pato, paloschi, kaka and ronaldo who will miraculously recover and rediscover his form for us soon.’ – this btw is galliani speak!

Way to leave me out Bonnie Haha, yes, Gila is indeed the emo boy of our team. No one can match the sadness on his face when he misses a shot. I like him quite a bit,but it really is just mind-boggling how he went to the insane goal-scoring machine he was for Parma…to…this?

Um. Yeah. Goal.com is like the National Enquirer of football news. you really do have to laugh when you see headlines like “Sheva seen dining with Milan team. Return is Emminent!”

Gianfranco, the feelings are mutual. Not Gilardino-Juve, please god…don’t buy him. We don’t need an inconsistent diver of dubious quality, even if he is at heart a bianconero.

On a side note, we’re being linked with a Villarreal midfielder. I would encourage Milan to buy him. Marcos Senna. He’s old and he’s Brazilian….seems like it’s only a matter of time before Milan swoops for him.
