boriello has scoreed some stunners this season.out with gikla and boriello should be given thoise chances.in the market we should go for benzema or aguero so that uncle fester wont have to spend more money for another 10 yrs on a striker.

Milan is like Jeykll & Hyde sometimes. For tonight's game against Arsenal, I am very nervous about it. Very nervous. Ancelotti said something about repeating the Milan-MU game last year, which to me is such a crap comparison. Even when MU beat us 3-2 last season, I still had that high confidence of Milan being able to overturn that result in their favor, which they did. MU played an open game then. But for Arsenal, it's another different creature altogether. If Milan plays like how they played a fortnight ago - i.e. 'great' defending and not many scoring chances - then they'd be dead. Arsenal has nothing to lose.

Then, for some funny reason - which is terrifying - as I was in the shower this morning, that Deportivo-Milan game in 2003-04 season came to mind. I almost got shock there and then.

You guys should relax. I'm a gooner. I like Milan a lot and watch them regularly. It's true you're not exactly on form right now but neither are we. It may be a tough game for you tomorrow but I have no doubt you'll go thru. We're just awful right now and we've probably thrown away the league too. Yes, our players will be up for it but so will your players. I just don't see this current Arsenal team with the injuries and form they're in right now getting even the necessary draw that we need to go thru. And I'm not saying this to jinx you or wind you up, I'm being entirelty sincere. I'm not the only gooner who'd feel no shame in going out to Milan. (We went out to PSV last season!) Regardless of your current weaknesses, I just think it's inevitable that you'll find a way to get thru, it's what Milan DO time and time again. We, on the other hand, have no freaking idea how to do that.

I've always admired Maldini - Pure Class is my usual comment.

But i would like to see him go at the end of the season, firstly because even though he still shows his pedigree on the pitch and he has demonstrated this a number of times this season, there have also been times where some guys have got the better of him, that makes me wince when i see that.

Dont get me wrong, i will remember him as one the worlds best defenders, an all time great (second ONLY to Baresi).

Secondly, most people will prefer to see him go out whilst he still has it, as opposed to watching him struggle, Milan wouldnt be doing him any favours asking him to stay on.

...and I think UEFA and FIFA should give Maldini a very special award for his services to football after he retires since he has unfairly missed that individual Ballon d'Or and FIFA Player of the Year thing.. :-)

When Baresi retired in 1997, AC Milan was experiencing one of its darkest periods. But this never made him any less of a legend. Milan is in a delicate predicament at the moment but it's far from being a crisis that we experienced almost ten years ago. When Maldini retires, he will be 40 and regardless of what happens to Milan this season, he will be regarded as one of Milan's greatest legends. So, it will not be fair for him to continue playing next season just to see him lifting the cups, all that he has won so many in the past (although this is an ideal situation). As most of us who have been used to watch Milan play without Baresi, so we should learn to watch Milan play without Maldini in the future.

peter i am with you with the early exit of the cl but not about 4th place i think it won't be as great becuase uncle fester and berlu only care about qualifying to the cl so a finish in 5th or 6th place will force them to make moves in the summer. Just look at what happened to bayern munich last year they did not qualify for cl and lost the bundesliga they had to blow up their squad basically. I personally think sheva should not come back he decided to leave so it should stay that way.Just a question to everyone, Is it just me or is Rino Not been the same as of late he seems tired or sometimes of even old?
