Milan 1 - Catania 2
By: Gianfranco | December 20th, 2007Dear Ricky Kaka:
Your brother sucks, you have worked wonders for us in the front, but in your brother’s small chance in the winning eleven he gave up two goals, and made a ton of gaffers. If you were not in top form, and a huge piece of the Milan puzzle, as of late, he would be flipping hamburgers.
Love,
Your Favorite Milanista Gianfranco
I will post a game recap, and Inter preview tomorrow, I am to angry to even watch the rest of this game right now so I have turned it off, poured me an adult beverage, and am sitting quietly with my thoughts.

Pathetic defeat. But considering the lineup Carletto put out,u couldnt expect anything better. When our main team cant win at the San Siro, what chance does the second string have? Digao sucked.
Only good sign was Primavera player Paloschi playing and scoring.Posted from

Digao wasn’t that bad, this is not a debut he wished for, but not because of luck of trying.

Gianfranco yeah he made two mistakes with those goals but a lot of expectations were thrown on him to play like his brother. He more than made up for that in the second half. Now if you want to talk about someone that played badly and his name is Gourcuff then come talk to me. You have got to admit though we played pretty good for fielding a totally different squad than normal with a lot of primavera players. They held their own and they shouldn’t be anything but proud.

I was at the game, my first official AC Milan game. it was not that bad from my perspective. got best section seats for 50 euro which is usually 170 euro or so i believe. cheapest ticket was 1 euro at the secondo blu. although i was disappointed with the fans. around only 20 or so Catania fans were louder than the whole Milan fans at the San Siro. Best thing ever, watching a Milan game at the San Siro with great seats and smoking a cigar, doesnt get any better =)
As for the game, i still believe that Gourcuff deserves a chance at the first team, he was trying really hard last night. and Milan will never let go of Digao, if anything keep him just for Kaka, but who cares as long as he doesnt play with the big guys.
And now we MUST WIN on Sunday. Honestly, i know i shouldn’t say this but id rather win this game only rather than the scudetto =S for god’s sake im paying 600 euro we better destroy those cockroaches, another 6-0 would do =D

Ro the game had plenty of potential for a lot of youth players to do well but instead they seemed to fold, I agree about Gourcuff, I think they may have made a mistake with him and it is only a matter time before they make a decision on him, I would expect he is gone after the second leg if he does not perform.

Isn’t Digao there only so they have someone to tie up and threaten with sharp objects if Ricky tries to leave? Come on, there’s no way they signed him for football reasons, actually expecting him to be able to play is outrageous. (:

They signed digao when they brought Ricky over so he’s been around forever in the primavera and then he was with Rimini? I think. Anyways Gourcuff puts his head down as soon as he gets the ball and tries to run with it while Pirlo gets the ball holds his head high and looks for opp. Of course they folded they didn’t have any senior-first team guys there to help them control the game. It was carlettos fault he should have fielded one defender like Nesta our Kaladze or something to help Digao because both times the other defenders watched while Digao worked alone.

Gianfranco you put a smile on my face (and it’s the first in a really shitty day).. I just couldn’t stop laughing.
Anyways, I agree Digao sucks. I doubt he can gain a place in the starting eleven even in a Serie B club.

I couldn’t see the full game. But what kind of team were we playin?? Not a single senior player in the defence. Thats just plain cruel to Digao.
