with Dinho we already have an agreement with him, the only problem is Barcelona. Milan are offering 15 million, and Barca wants 30 million. 25 mil could probably do it. same thing with Adebayor, but Arsenal want 40 million.

for some reason i believe that Dinho will bring the magic back with Kaka & Pato.

Fetyani, I actually watched Adebayor's press conference today in the Fox Soccer Report, and he is a very tough guy to read. He in fact even stated that he loves Arsenal and the youth of the club, but that he enjoys being courted by the "big" clubs. The more I read, and the more I listen and gleen, the harder it becomes to separate a players wishes, desires, and motiviations from agent desires and alterior motives. I even think about it with Dinho, he may really really really want to play for Milan, which for me is a huge plus, because that desire is fantastic, but the money issue may hold him back and portray him as greedy. But Adebayor in that spot and one would have to consider the same factors, how much of it is him, and how much of it his entourage? Paying him like Henry is a ridculous prospect, Henry is a World and Euro champion and in that regard Adebayor is nothing.

gianfranco i think you can scratch this quote now,

‘I was born in Togo so I never cared about playing for money, my happiness was to play to enjoy myself. That’s what I’ve been doing until now.

he said, “Either Arsenal give me what I want and I stay or they don’t and I leave.”

and he also basically said as in goal.com headline, pay me like henry and ill play like henry.

MAD, your are correct, it does have to do clearly with the amount of funds available and how, and as you said there is nothing wrong that, Juve, Milan and Inter's owners are filthy rich and look to spend the money on the club, because they realize how much profit can be made with a very succesful club. Unlike EPL clubs, the Serie A big boys operate with far less depth, and it has to do with the fact that they won a lot silverware over the years which pads the checkbook.

GF: It makes me laugh to hear the supporters of a club that has really accomplished... not much, blow their own horn so much... and yes, the word blow was used on purpose.

The truth is that teams like Inter, Milan and Juventus have a very large advantage over teams like Roma and the other mid-tier teams.

The advantage is that we don't NEED to have a big year, or make a big sale to make those improvements that are always necessary due to form, personal dislike or injury.

They do. It's not a crime, and it's not (and I sure there will be some disagreement here) because one group is soulless and money conscience and the other is "pure". It's how to keep your business interests afloat and succeed in an unfair world. Some people get that and don't make it TOO personal. Some don't and become the crazed whack-a-doos we know as...

All that being said, there are so many insults, so many irrational unsubstantiated slanders a body can take...

before...

Sarcasm rears its ugly, damning, cruel, but funny head.

Alessio, can I venture to geuss why the rivalry will disappear?

Is it because one of those teams will fade...

Be careful on reinforcing my opinion, you may anger the Roman mob...
