if we miss out on adebayor and drogba, we are going in for crespo. i hate doing business with the enemy. granted i would take crespo pre 2002 but not now.

avia, when carlo said no to the russians, it shows that not all of the football world is mad for money.

Crespo may actually figure into Mourinho’s plans at Inter even though he never did at Chelsea. If we are going to do business for Inter it has to be Suazo or Zlatan. I am just afraid that we will end up with Pizarro in some freak accident of contracts.

Peter, my real worry is that at Chelsea, Carlo would have a far bigger cheque book to wield.

    This in itself is tempting.

Especially when u are saying that someone like Boruc is too expensive!

    Crespo would blow!

He was good when he last played for us but that was prob the last time he actually decently.

I have faint hopes for Drogba, Etoo or Adebayor but Crespo would just be a big cop out in my eyes.

Chelsea have a coach so we are safe, we just need to sure about his bench now so Carletto stays happy.

Yeah, i was glad to hear about Scolari yesterday! Breathed a sigh of relief when that story came in.

Im just getting bored of Galliani boasting about transfers when we still have much wheeling & dealing to do before the new season starts.

U kno i wasnt a fan of bringing ‘Dino to Milan, but what HAS happened on that front anyway??

    Hmm..let me guess……..Too expensive???

Well, i for one , am getting bored of this broken record!

im not even gonna bother with the Pirlo rumors. hell will have to freeze first. the guy didnt even hint out he wants to leave, he said he have won everything with milan and wants to win more!

more rumors, Oddo for Sagnol. Adebayor wants to leave now. Drogba closer than Eto’o

If Oddo is going to leave, his replacement should be Lahm. The German’s probably too expensive though, of course. And also, Milan already missed out on a great fullback by passing up on Maggio. I don’t get it. We pass up on Amelia, Maggio, Toni, etc.

the thing is the Milan transfer guru are way too slow.

thats why we missed on Ibra, Crespo, Suazo, Toni and the list goes on forever. when other teams are interested they act quickly and Milan ends up with nothing.

Fetyani and Jp, Milan are also notorious for approaching these deals as gentlemanly as possible and expect the same reciprocity. Problem is that style is a thing of the past and money and swiftness makes deals, not letting the talks develop and expecting the clubs reputation to win over players. Money and interest wins over players now…

Fetyani, don’t worry. With a few exceptions, every clubs fans think they are going too slow.

I’ve been green with envy at Milan’s transfers thus far. Zambrotta, Flamini, and Borriello? That’s much more than anyone else has done, and quality players too.

As much as I can. Genoa’s president said earlier today that they were about to sign him, on a co-ownership deal for 5.5million euros. Sounds a bit cheap for him.

Later this evening though, according to TuttoMercato Web, Palladino refused the deal. He already refused Palermo…the way I see it he’s either holding out for Napoli (his hometown) or he’s sticking with us. On tour with the team in Asia, he said he loved Juventus and despite all the rumors planned to stay with the club a long time.

A lot of Juventus fans have become lukewarm on him, like all SS’s who come through the Juve youth team he was dubbed the next ADP and this was supposed to be his breakout year, but it didn’t happen for obvious reasons.

I’ve always liked the kid, I still do, though Giovinco’s arrival is overshadowing him as “Juve’s next big thing.” I hope he stays though.

I really like Palladino, alessio. His goal against Parma was a diamond. I want him and G. Rossi to be with the national team come 2010.

Did anyone watch Boruc in Poland v Austria match today? The man was out of this world, had quite a few spectacular saves, kept his team in it. MOTM.

Celtic has good reason to have a high asking price, but you can’t help but be sad at Carletto’s response: “Milan cannot afford Boruc. We made some efforts but it did not happen and now I have three goalkeepers, in any case.”

I don’t like this complacency. Three goalkeepers that won’t be around for much long, whether it’s because they suck (our favorite faker), age (Kalac)…whatever.

Alessio I have to say that Juve have an embarrasment of good young Italian talent, and If anyone can get them on the pitch it is Ranieri, but a deal to get these guys team is good for the National team, but may not be so good for Juve. I have to say I am jealous. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

I agree. The Toulon tournament was basically a who’s who of Juventus-owned talent. If we buy Cigarini, and Ranieri would like to a lot given his time with him at Parma, it will be obscene.

How about our search for defenders?
Carlos Bocanegra? He has just left Fulham.
    Maybe Vincent Kompany?

    Just throwing names out there.
