The signing of Gomez to Fiorentina and the possible arrival of Strootman to Roma has me truly worried for Milan. Milan has been unable to offload the deadwood (Antonini,Zaccardo, Nocerino, Traore, Robinho, Urby, Strasser) that still represents the red and black jersey. Adriano can't sign Honda until Robinho exits the San Siro because Milan offloaded a non-EU Taye Taiwo. Signing Ljajic to replace Robinho is pointless when Milan has five strikers excluding Robinho. The mistake-prone Astori has been linked to Milan repeatedly. Milan wants to offload Salamon because they can't afford to pay all of Poli's asking price.Fossati can't return to Milan because no one there believe Fossati is ready although a respected club like Ajax has expressed interest in him. So far, Galliani continues to reiterate Milan must sell before they can buy every time he steps in front of a microphone. I believe everyone agrees with that statement. But how in the same press conference he can state Milan will sell 1-2 players without contradicting himself? The question plenty of fans are asking, what is taking them so long to sell? I realize it must difficult to offloaded players with no buyers, but this is his doing and the one who is deemed the "transfer guru". Galliani is the one who signed a 31 year old Zaccardo on a four year deal, unknown and unproven Traore on three year deal, Nocerino who couldn't make it at Juventus, and an undisciplined Robinho. Galliani also brought in a flop of player in Taiwo and out of positioned Emanuelson. Teams such as, Juventus, Fiorentina, and Napoli have improved their team tremendously. Bare in mind, Milan is only nine days in the summer. The question that needs to be answered, does Milan have anything to worry about?
