Massimiliano Allegri found himself without Mario Yepes and Massimo Ambrosini as AC Milan looked to improve on their indifferent form against Bologna. The away side were unchanged from the team that beat Chievo 4-0 last time out. In a first half lacking cutting edge the only real highlight came from the head of Giampaolo Pazzini. Kevin Constant whipped a delightful ball in to the box and Pazzini forced a fine diving save from Agliardi
