While many think that because Milan made some losses in the few last few financial year, therefore it is appropriate that they continue with current austerity measure. The question is why aren’t other big European clubs with more bigger debt not going down the same road? Lets brake it down. In terms of club value we are in top six in Europe with club value of nearly $1b and in terms of revenue we are in top seven with club revenue of $341m. In both clubs value and revenue we are only behind Barca, RM, Arsenal, Bayern, Man U and Chelsea (On only revenue). In terms of clubs debt we aren’t even to 15 indebted clubs in Europe. Back to the question, why is Milan management adopting this though austerity measure when clubs like ManU, Barca, RM, Chelsea and Man City with much larger debt are not doing the same?
